Remarks

Eligibility of the course: First to qualify WBJEE exam with a valid rank, then cutoff should be between 10000-17000, Higher secondary marks should be a minimum of 45% in PCM. WBJEE form Will be available on the Google platform, have to search in Google and fill it up in between mentioned dates.

Course Curriculum Overview

5

I choose CSE because I'm always passionate about computer programming, software development since 10+1, though it is not necessary to have a computer science subject in 10+1. If someone has interest then he/she choose this course. In my college faculty is very very good, some of them are in research level, all are very good that's all I would say. 4years of course and have a total of 8 semesters, and exams are difficult or not is totally up to you, how wellfully would you study, and as a moderate student, I would say, yes exams are easy-going. All semester exams will be taken by our university named MAKAUT.

Internships Opportunities

2

As I am in 1st year, I don't have much knowledge about internships. As much I know you can choose any company for internships, according to your marks you would select, and definitely would get the decent stipend.

Placement Experience

4.5

As much I know, from the 6th or 7th semester students become eligible for campus placement s. TCS, Infosys, and many other companies visit our college and the highest offers got 42LPA. My plans after getting the degree are first 5 years would continue the job, and after will study MBA from abroad. And wants to become an entrepreneur.

Fees and Financial Aid

Yes, this course is quite costly in our college, the total fees in 4 years are 484000. I had applied for the Vivekananda scholarship, and all documents I have to submit in college for this scholarship. Also, I had applied student credit card scheme provided by our state government.

Campus Life

3

Due to the pandemic, no tech fest or annual fest has been conducted. There are soo many books available in our college library, once you get a library card, you can choose any books from the library. So many sports have in our college, and from that, you would get MAR points also and extracurricular activities like singing, dancing contest, cooking, paintings, and many others have in our college and from all, you would get MAR points. A social group have been named NSS MSIT, Club: Rotaract Club of meghnad Saha institute and websites would provide by our college official group.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum under MAKAUT is quite comprehensive, which is one of the reasons I choose this course. With making the foundation strong in first year with subjects like maths, physics, chemistry and then the core subjects in the later years. In terms of real life application, lab work, project work and projects make us ready for the industry. The syllabus is also alligned with the competitive exams like GATE.
