Remarks

Usually, the interview rounds or admission process takes place offline but due to the pandemic mine was online, the applications are available on the university website which would cost you around 700-1000 rs for application registration, once you have registered you will be sent mail for your scheduled interview which will take place online thru online platform, for different courses, there are different admission process like for b. Tech there will be an entrance exam conducted by the university if you pass in that then you are eligible for the interview that thing you will get to know through the mail that the university will send you if you have passed or not. Keep checking your application process in your university for a status update, mine was architecture so I had already given an entrance exam called Nata thru which I got admission to the university and appeared a Proctored interview which is there are two interviewers one will keep an eye on you, how you speak, body language etc and other will ask questions.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

I have chosen architecture, as I have been passionate about the construction of buildings and interiors, School of architecture in Christ was opened 5 years back which has been developing in great space, there are total 5 batches right now per batch per year, the faculty currently is less in number due to it has opened newly, there are total 27 faculties right now The faculties have done masters or PhD in the course and are coming from cept university or places from around the country the teaching style they have adopted here is appreciated because in architecture you need practicality more, they have a practical way of teaching with Therotical too. Every semester is of 6 months per year there are 2 semesters the exams are at moderate level and exams takes place between one semester

Internships Opportunities

4

As I am in the first year of my bachelor's in Architecture I am still yet to do my first semester so I don't have much idea about placements or internships but as much I know about architecture internships our university does provide top companies to do internships.

Placement Experience

4

Currently, I am in first year first semester, I don't have much idea about placements or anything about my plans after getting the degree I am not sure about because currently I am discovering myself and trying to learn new things.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees per year are 200000 till the third year from the third year the fees are increasing to 300000 till the fifth year, this is the tuition fees. Scholarships are offered by the university, various scholarships for people who want to avail these can check on university website if you are a student of Christ then only you can avail it.

Campus Life

3.5

There are various clubs run by students like council for the link between students, faculties and university, student welfare organizations for conducting events on campus, and various fund raising programs in which all students can participate, there are various fests organized by different departments in which all the students can participate. There are many libraries in the campus, and all types of books are available to check out. Sports activities and events take place regularly on campus all types of sports activities are there for fitness and competition to everything.

Hostel Facilities

3

Hostel facility is available for everyone, for girls it is double sharing, triple sharing and for boys it is triple and four sharing, a Godrej is provided with two beds and two study tables. There are 4-5 canteens that provide subtle food. Cleaning of hostel rooms takes place every 2 days. No night outs are allowed, hostels in Christ are pretty strict, all the details regarding fees structure and everything is available on the university website for the hostel, when the hostel admissions start a mail is sent for registration and hostels as compared to pg here pg's are pretty affordable.

Architecture is completely a solo thinking work we can work in groups as well but if a structure is designed by a single architect then it has a taste of that particular person but if its a group then all will be mixed and have different kind of brains giving different ideas soo an individual can manage even if he doesnt get a placement

Course Curriculum Overview:

You'll indulge in a lot of painting and are related stuff. Well since Architecture is not only about art, there are subjects which will use up your brain cells. You also get to go to study trips too! The ride is not smooth- everyday would be a submission day , everyday would be a love-hate relationship with the course. Internal reviews, external reviews, viva and jury, presentation and assignments, written exams...theyre enough to keep you busy throughout. Since its Affiliated to vtu, the system does seem not so updated to date. You cannot expect to have a month of holidays after each Semester too. Dont dream of having a pleasant vacation break.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is more condensed that other colleges', so it makes it easier to tackle multiple things at once. The course prepares us for real world applications through their dual internship program, which is a strong point in their curriculum. If the course in itself had more real world applications, instead of very superficial ideas, it would be more helpful The exams are a hurdle, but it comes with the rigor of the course, and it is something students end up adapting to over the course of 5 years.

Course Curriculum Overview:

If you check with other colleges the approach to the curriculum is different and more fun. The process of learning is more fun and appealing making us satisfied of what we have done at the end. Sometimes we don't get how the teachers are expecting us to do our assignments but we figure it out some how. Exams happen twice a semester (mid-sem and end-sem).

Since our HOD changed this year, I'm not sire about when the placements are available, most probably would be for the 5th year students so 9th sem onwards. Not sur3 about which companies either, highest package would be 8000 I'm guessing, we don't get paid much. My plan is to switch courses, this was absolutely useless to me :)
