Course Curriculum Overview

5

Architecture is a totally different type of course we are upcoming professionals we should be good at sketching and alooot of thinking skills as well as creative all cannot enter architecturing without having interest

Internships Opportunities

5

The first step in the NSAPD Bangalore placement process is inviting businesses to conduct campus recruitment. Based on the corporate profile, the required qualifications for the position, and the skills of the students, the placement cell sends invitations to various organisations. In response to the invitation, the employers give the Placement Cell their job description, eligibility requirements, and selection process. The placement division of NSAPD Bangalore notifies the students about the company's profile, job description, and selection process as soon as the company indicates its desire to take part in the recruiting process. Students who are interested in the position apply to the Placement Cell, where their resumes are reviewed in accordance with the requirements of the employer.

Placement Experience

5

Architecture is completely a solo thinking work we can work in groups as well but if a structure is designed by a single architect then it has a taste of that particular person but if its a group then all will be mixed and have different kind of brains giving different ideas soo an individual can manage even if he doesnt get a placement

Fees and Financial Aid

It has one of the best and finest campus in terms of Architecture the building of arch block is awesome really worth it and the faculties are also amazing architects It has an emphasis in the whole Nitte Meenakshi Institute of Technology as NSAPD building is quite highly attractive

Campus Life

5

As already said the infrastructure is neat and tidy and one of the finest structured campus in Bengaluru it is triangular building with an arch like structure at one end and it is a mirrored structure from centre axis

Admission

There are good colleges like RV College of Architecture and BMS College of Architecture but i got seat through a competitive exam based on my rank and those colleges needs higher ranking where i lacked to join that though i had a good rank in NATA then too couldnt do good as that. Admissions are easy they interview you why to choose this course and not others, then suggestions are given.

Faculty

5

Faculties are one of the best appointed by VTU it has good and enough number of faculties. They provide Architecture Planning and Designing all 3 courses in the same block, exams system is under VTU invigilation and marking schemes also as it is affiliated to VTU

Interview Experience

5

No written tests but they will interview like why do you choose this course why are you interested in being an architect who suggested you too take this course and its easy getiing admitted into the course if you have an interest

Night Life

5

We have Indian Air Force opposite to the campus but it has fences with walls and it is a dark jungle type area and is not safe during the nights but anyways hostellites are informed to be 9 or before inside the college gate so as to be safe

Course Curriculum Overview:

You'll indulge in a lot of painting and are related stuff. Well since Architecture is not only about art, there are subjects which will use up your brain cells. You also get to go to study trips too! The ride is not smooth- everyday would be a submission day , everyday would be a love-hate relationship with the course. Internal reviews, external reviews, viva and jury, presentation and assignments, written exams...theyre enough to keep you busy throughout. Since its Affiliated to vtu, the system does seem not so updated to date. You cannot expect to have a month of holidays after each Semester too. Dont dream of having a pleasant vacation break.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is more condensed that other colleges', so it makes it easier to tackle multiple things at once. The course prepares us for real world applications through their dual internship program, which is a strong point in their curriculum. If the course in itself had more real world applications, instead of very superficial ideas, it would be more helpful The exams are a hurdle, but it comes with the rigor of the course, and it is something students end up adapting to over the course of 5 years.

Course Curriculum Overview:

If you check with other colleges the approach to the curriculum is different and more fun. The process of learning is more fun and appealing making us satisfied of what we have done at the end. Sometimes we don't get how the teachers are expecting us to do our assignments but we figure it out some how. Exams happen twice a semester (mid-sem and end-sem).

Since our HOD changed this year, I'm not sire about when the placements are available, most probably would be for the 5th year students so 9th sem onwards. Not sur3 about which companies either, highest package would be 8000 I'm guessing, we don't get paid much. My plan is to switch courses, this was absolutely useless to me :)
