they have to renovate the hostels and also make the classroom of ours air conditioned and also should give much importance in sports.

Entrance Preview

i wrote nata and then applied to the manipal university and got a seat.they called for a counciling and i was qualified in the first round and got seat in the campus.

Course Curriculum Overview

a very scholastic course.we planed a skill development center in goa.we have electives like clay ,glass,wood,steel.

Internships Opportunities

yaa the college provides internship in the fifth year.what i experienced from seniors is that the college internship is very good and they suggested to do it.

Placement Experience

till now what we experienced from the seniors is that we will get a nice placement and also with the college brand we can have a nice name whwn we go out and join in some arch company.

Fee Structure And Facilities

3 lakhs for academics and 90 thousand for hostel.what we are paying for the academics is satisfactory and same in the hostel too.

Faculty

they are very polite in interacting and claryfying the doubts and also in group discussions.the standard of teaching is also satisfactory.

Course Curriculum Overview:

You'll indulge in a lot of painting and are related stuff. Well since Architecture is not only about art, there are subjects which will use up your brain cells. You also get to go to study trips too! The ride is not smooth- everyday would be a submission day , everyday would be a love-hate relationship with the course. Internal reviews,external reviews, viva and jury, presentation and assignments, written exams...theyre enough to keep you busy throughout. Since its Affiliated to vtu, the system does seem not so updated to date. You cannot expect to have a month of holidays after each Semester too. Dont dream of having a pleasant vacation break.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is more condensed that other colleges', so it makes it easier to tackle multiple things at once. The course prepares us for real world applications through their dual internship program, which is a strong point in their curriculum. If the course in itself had more real world applications, instead of very superficial ideas, it would be more helpful The exams are a hurdle, but it comes with the rigor of the course, and it is something students end up adapting to over the course of 5 years.

If you check with other colleges the approach to the curriculum is different and more fun. The process of learning is more fun and appealing making us satisfied of what we have done at the end. Sometimes we don't get how the teachers are expecting us to do our assignments but we figure it out some how. Exams happen twice a semester (mid-sem and end-sem).

My College Sucks

Placement Experience:

Since our HOD changed this year, I'm not sire about when the placements are available, most probably would be for the 5th year students so 9th sem onwards. Not sur3 about which companies either, highest package would be 8000 I'm guessing, we don't get paid much. My plan is to switch courses, this was absolutely useless to me :)

Comprehensive review of architecture curriculum

Placement Experience:

After 10 semester Students are eligible for placements. Yes,from last year they iffer on campus placements with highest package of 11 lakhs which is really good according to this course. average package is around 6 lakhs which is also decent. 15 out of 30 students could get the placements that is 50 percent. I am planning to pursue masters degree outside India after this course

Pretty decent college

Some other colleges I applied to are NIFT, MIT Pune and Soft Pune. My admission was confirmed for all three however after speaking to alumni from all 4, I decided that MSAP was the best fit for me. I chose this college over NIFT as NIFT was offering me admission for b.des textile design and I was not interested in perusing that course. Maybe Manipal,maybe not.

I applied to other colleges in kerala. Cat,trivandrum and avani,calicut. Both were much more amazing than MSAP comparing the infrastructure,college aesthetics,architecture vibes and as a malayali,maybe the right spot. To be eligible for this course you have to clear the NATA Exam. Application forms, application fees, and application fees can be checked on the official site of Msap. There should be an improvement in the admission process for now students have to just pass the NATA exam but there should be a particular cut-off, like government colleges do.
