Remarks

Eligibility - JEE mains after 12th or Pmsss scholarship. I am following under PMSS. This scholarship is only for Jammu and Kashmir students. No JEE main required. This scholarship is based on the merit number of 12 classes.

Course Curriculum Overview

B.E chemical is chosen by fewer students and there are few colleges which provide this course. It means less college, more scope. Every semester is for 6 months. In semester two internal exam ( best of two ) is required and one final exam is.

Class Size: 100Course Fees: INR 18000 per year

Placement Experience

I am interested in defense exams like CPO, afcat, CDS. So, I will prepare for it after completing my degree. Placement due to corona is less as compared to previous years. But you can get exposure in this college.

Fees and Financial Aid

The scholarship is for Jammu and Kashmir. It is based on 12 class marks. No entrance is required. In this scholarship, students of a professional degree get 4 lakh as maintenance fee ( like hostel fee, mess fee, book fee, etc). This money is credited to my account installment-wise. I also get course fees under this scholarship. This scholarship is the best opportunity for j&k students.

Campus Life

Hostel Life gives me more opportunities. It makes me independent. It helps me to develop leadership qualities. The hostel is of moderate quality. There is a gym in the hostel, mess, drinking water and playing ground.

Hostel Facilities

Hostel rent 5020 for six months. A security fee of 1000. Mess fee depends on the student, how much you eat. The quality of food is enough to survive. The hostel is good enough. It contains playing ground indoor as well as outdoor.

Hostel Fee: INR 6020 per year

PEC is great choice

Placement Experience:

placements from rti report placement percentage is over 75 + and in ee its 74 percent cse 93 and ece 84 percent avg for cse is 18 lakhs and ece is 16 lakhs ee its 14 lakh and other branches have 8 10 lakh avg but the placemnt percentage in mechncial is 70 percent other branches like civil production have a little less percentage of placements but they have opportunities in college

PEC: where engineering meets opportunity

Placement Experience:

The students become eligible for placements after their sixth semester. Many companies visit PEC some of the top recruiters are Uber,Microsoft,JP Morgan,Goldman Sachs,Texas Instruments,Cisco,American Express and many more. This year the highest package was 61 lpa given to 3 students from circuital branches,6 students received offer of 52 lpa. The average CTC was 13.6 lpa and specifically about ECE it was 15.6 lpa. 456 out of 694 students were placed which is a placement rate of 65.7% including PPOs from companies. My plans would be to get placed with a good package .

Pec chandigarh review

Its more than an average decent college you can surely come here.

Placement Experience:

You can appear for placements starting from 7th semester onwards plus you can apply yourself as well to various off-campus opportunities. The companies which visit are decent i would say including the likes of Amazon, Deloitte, Hero came as well few years ago for mechanical engineers. Around 50-60 decent companies visit the college for placement with around 300 job offers with the highest package around 41 lpa which was off campus probably but Amazon could give upto 25-30 lpa i guess, The average package would be around 7 lpa i guess but its gonna improve year by year. If you are in CSE or IT you are most chilled with around 80% placements, in ECE as well there are decent placements but after that you have to study really well to get placed But you can always do a lot of things after getting your degree.

Remarks:

I chose this because of the brand of Panjab University. Plus you get a lot of exposure of Chandigarh and there are a lot of opportunities there based on your field, even better than Delhi. Plus you never get distracted in Chandigarh because of the reason that people are too much work and ethics focused. Also, the level of knowledge the teachers have in my college is just great.

Dr. SSBUICET is one of the best chemical engineering colleges in North India

To get admission in B.E Chemical at SS BHATNAGAR UNIVERSITY INSTITUTE OF CHEMICAL ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY you should score at least 65% marks in 12th grade and then you have to appear for JEE Mains exams. Best if you want to pursue chemical engineering. That too with a completion of degree just under 1 lac rupees.
