Remarks

Got admission through the exam of Jee mains. Cut off for our batch was around the rank of 95k for the general category The admission to my college is through the JAC site which also has 4 colleges on the site. I didn't avail of any reservation benefits

Course Curriculum Overview

In a semester, there are two mid-term exams and the best out of two is considered and then there are final exams for the semester. Practical exams and viva are also conducted for labs. Semester exams are relatively easier than the final exams

Internships Opportunities

Companies like Exxon Mobil, L'Oreal, cairn, reliance, etc come to the college for recruiting students. For internship, UOP Honeywell gave a stipend of 60,000. Roles offered are of process engineer, safety engineer, etc.

Placement Experience

Around 70% of students got placed last year. The highest package was 11 lpa and the lowest was around 4 lpa. The average package of our college is around 6 lpa. Companies like Exxon Mobil, L'Oreal, cairn, reliance, etc come for recruiting students.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees of our college are so much less than other engineering colleges. The whole degree gets completed in 80,000 itself without any scholarships or financial assistance. Getting a degree from my college is quite affordable

Campus Life

Being in a university, campus life is great. Lots of fests are held. In our department, Cyanide is held annually in the month of February. The Department library has got all the books related to the course. Clubs such as Enactus, rotoract, e-cell, and many more are run by students.

Great college with immense opportunities

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course is upto date and to the industry levels, especially with great labs and internship opportunities. Exams, are based on the course but they're quite tough and we need to study daily to get good marks.

Good college with great opportunities

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for placements from 4th year and many get PPOs in 3rd year as well. Top companies like Amazon, Microsoft, Apple, Google, visits the campus for placement. In CSE last year, the highest package was around 60 LPA with average around 17-18 LPA with 80% got placed.

Life, Academics & Growth at PEC

Placement Experience:

The placement for overall college is around 13 14 LPa But if you specifically choose CSC rec then this average will increase for CSE is around 17 lakh and for ECE is around 1500000 per annum Student become eligible for placement from third year onward. In 2025 the highest CTC was given by Apple around 63 lakh. Since I am doing civil engineering I will go in government exam preparation.

PEC: where engineering meets opportunity

Placement Experience:

The students become eligible for placements after their sixth semester. Many companies visit PEC some of the top recruiters are Uber,Microsoft,JP Morgan,Goldman Sachs,Texas Instruments,Cisco,American Express and many more. This year the highest package was 61 lpa given to 3 students from circuital branches,6 students received offer of 52 lpa. The average CTC was 13.6 lpa and specifically about ECE it was 15.6 lpa. 456 out of 694 students were placed which is a placement rate of 65.7% including PPOs from companies. My plans would be to get placed with a good package .

Placement Experience:

Campus placements are offered and internships are also offered in the 3rd year, many new branches are also being introduced to the curriculum. Placements are according to the branch and capability of the student. There is good placement ratio.

Admission is done on the basis of jee main marks by jossa counseling. You have to apply on jossa portal and process ahead, previous year's cut-off for general category students is about 1 lakh rank. There is no state reservation available here....Read More

Dr. SSBUICET is one of the best chemical engineering colleges in North India

To get admission in B.E Chemical at SS BHATNAGAR UNIVERSITY INSTITUTE OF CHEMICAL ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY you should score at least 65% marks in 12th grade and then you have to appear for JEE Mains exams. The cutoff rank varies year by year but the average can be taken as 80k. To get admission you have to go through JAC Chandigarh counseling. Best for chemical engineering

Best if you want to pursue chemical engineering. That too with a completion of degree just under 1 lac rupees.
