Remarks

You have to clear jee mains with a decent percentile above 93 and you will get chemical in this college. It also provides other courses like Chemical+MBA and Food technology engineering and if you are from the reserved category this college is a good choice.

Course Curriculum Overview

Teachers are very helpful with full clarity of their subject and highly qualified as all core subjects were taught by professors they provide you with all industrial applications of that subject and also shows an experiment to clarify the concept. Semester exams are average everything is from notes.

Internships Opportunities

Almost 50% of students got stipend internships from UOP Honeywell, Reliance, and these companies also provide PPO of about 50000-60000. The internships help you to know about the industrial applications of equipment which you will be studying in your course.

Almost 80-90% of eligible students got campus placement with an average package of 5-6 LPA. Our highest paying company is Exxon Mobil which provides you with a package of 11.5 LPA and the lowest package is paid by Infosys around 3-4 LPA.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee for the chemical course is decent and also hostel cost is very low it is an affordable course from my opinion you also get state wise scholarship opportunities. Almost 50% of students in our course got stipend internships.

Campus Life

Our annual fest is cyanide and the technical fest is aastik. Cyanide is conducted between February and March and Aastik will take place at the end of April. Our university has a good library named AC Joshi and all types of books are available there.

Hostel Facilities

You will get the Hostel accommodation if you get a chemical course in the first round of counselling. The hostel room provides you with two single beds and one almirah with a steady table and wifi facility. You get a good pg in university area with decent rent.

Great exposure, Learning and Placements at CU- A well rounded experience

Placement Experience:

I am a recent graduate in computer science with specialization in artificial intelligence and machine learning. i took admission in CU just because of their excellent placements for the computer science students and what i feel is during my journey they provide i'll not say 100% placements that they guys claimed but yes the placement is really good. the average package is of 7-8 lpa and they offered placements globally like in hyderabad, pune, banglore, noida that are considered as best places to work in IT sector. but in my last year i.e 4th year i have been offered a position of software engineer intern in gurugram and that was off campus so i grabbed that opportunity. and there is one policy of chandigarh university if you opt for off campus placement then you get debarred from the TPP campus placements of chandigarh university and you will not be able to sit in the campus placements of chandigarh university. rest overall the campus placement is good.

The Life in Chandigarh University

Placement Experience:

The placement is the one of the strongest region in this college. From 6th semester onwards students become eligible for campus placements. From 4th semester,there is placement training program which makes students get ready for interviews, tests in placements. There are prominent companies who visited our college like Microsoft, Google, Infosys, TCS, Wipro etc. The highest package offered by a company is Rs. 54LPA and average placement is Rs.8LPA. 90% of eligible students gets placements. My plans after degree is to study MBA and get into entrepreneurship and business.

Placement Experience:

After the sixth semester, we are eligible for placements. many multinational companies visited for placement such as Amazon, Google, Wipro and many more. The highest package is 36 lack per anum. Around 600 companies offer placement on campus every year.

Placement Experience:

The campus offers good placement in amazon and other high digital online platforms. The placement completely depends on the rank of the students. Many companies such as Amazon and Birla group have visited the college. They also offer good jobs abroad with attractive salaries. Mostly in a year almost 30% of students are placed in job by the college itself. Rest 50% will surely get jobs in good companies if they have good academic statistics. After getting the degree, I would like to get job in foreign country like America and would like to settle there as the college also offers job in abroad.

I was ready to choose btech course (civil engineering ).collage faculty was more than i expected. Collage was more friendly. As in the case of students was very good at college. And also our teachers are more friendly in studies and helping the students in studies.During the examination our teachers works well. And they are able to make the students to score good marks. Collage conduct exams as 4 sections in a year.

Dr. SSBUICET is one of the best chemical engineering colleges in North India

To get admission in B.E Chemical at SS BHATNAGAR UNIVERSITY INSTITUTE OF CHEMICAL ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY you should score at least 65% marks in 12th grade and then you have to appear for JEE Mains exams. Best for chemical engineering

Best if you want to pursue chemical engineering. That too with a completion of degree just under 1 lac rupees.
