Gmch a premier college

I took neet entrance exam in 2019. It was my first attempt. I scored 558/720 n got an 80 rank in Assam state. I got admission in the UR category through the state quota. Cut off for gmch was 547. Admission was done in college itself.

I wanted to become a doctor it was my aim so I choose. Each department has its own set of teachers of about 20-30. The ratio is like 10 to 20 students per teacher. Faulty are highly qualified with MD and ms n og degrees. Exams were conducted frequently.

The internship is done after passing the final year. It is done in our own hospital. Og senior is always there to guide n also professors n doctors. There is the scope of many subjects both clinical and paraclinical. After the internship, there is a rural for one year.

Students after the 7th semester are good. The placement is quite good. After the internship, you get to do rural in your own district which is very good. And also internship is done in our hospital along with seniors so they guide us a lot. Around 70-80 percentage of students get good placement. There are several Students who got good placement.

When we got admission in 2019 the admission fees was around Rs 30000. N after that the books uniform n other things were around Rs 4000-6000. I did not apply for a scholarship so I have no idea about it but there were a few scholarships.

There is synchisis our college fest that was organised in our college week in 2020 Books are available in nearby stores Social life is also good, I got new friends over time n we enjoy ourselves a lot. Sports were there in the first year and there is college week every year.

The hostel is quite good here. There are 20-30 double rooms and 20 single rooms on each floor and there are 4 floors. There are lots of hostels both for ug and pg. Several hostels are for boys and for girls. Hostel registration was done during admission. I am in a hostel soni don't have an idea about pg but there are many pg nearby.
