Remarks
Admission process was very smooth. The applicants were called to the DME office which is in the city itself for the counciling. Before taking admission i have to appear in the NEET exam. Based on the marks scored in the exam I have got my seat in GMCH. The application forms were uploaded in the DME official website from where we can download them easily. As I am under the OBC category I was benifited, by getting the seat in best college in Assam. I guess management improvement is required for better counciling.
Course Curriculum Overview
It's been my biggest dream to become a doctor since childhood. I wanted to treat people and give them the best treatment as far as possible. The teacher is the best. They have enough knowledge to guide the students for a better future. All faculties are at least MBBS graduates. The exams are good and a little difficult to pass.
Internships Opportunities
During the internship, we have to do it in the college itself. The college is best as it receives many different cases from around the state and it gives better exposure to different cases. The stipend is around 40000 rupees.
Placement Experience
Students get placements from the 9th semester. They get good placement in good hospitals. Per year 50%students get placement. After my degree, I would do my PG course. I prefer to take medicine in my pg course.
Fees and Financial Aid
The scholarship they provide is fair enough. Students are eligible to apply for any scholarship in the college. I have received an MLA fund which is a handsome amount. And I also got some project works from the college which pay me fair enough.
Campus Life
We the student-run a blood bank drive. It was a monthly drive where we collect blood from voluntary donors. The annual fear feast is held every year from the month of March to June. It was conducted with joy and pomp. Our college has two libraries both are in good condition. Saturday we have a sports class in the last period.
