Remarks

The admission process is very smooth. The process was made even smoother by the Team Insite of IIM Kashipur which is a student body that helps out the new joining students. People have to take the CAT exam to get into consideration for selection into the business schools.

Course Curriculum Overview

I chose the course because MBA is the most prominent path towards being successful in the corporate sector. The faculty is highly qualified and very helpful in nature. The term exams are definitely challenging but regular studies do help in getting marks and clearing the term.

Internships Opportunities

The placement, as well as the summer internships provided, are from renowned companies and some of the companies come both for Summer internships as well as the final placements. There are a lot of opportunities provided throughout the year to get hands-on experience through Live project opportunities.

Placement Experience

The placement is excellent even when the pandemic has slowed down lots of industry but being in the IIM gives a person the advantage of grabbing the chance and getting the first hand when it comes to the placement record.

Fees and Financial Aid

The total fee is around 16 lakhs for 2 years of the course. It is a decent fees structure for a top business school like IIM Kashipur. There are student loan schemes through which students can enroll and complete their courses with ease.

Campus Life

The campus life is very enriching and peer learning is very prominent. The campus is a mixture of the beauty of nature and the modern infrastructure. All the facilities regarding living, dining, and studying are very well maintained.

Hostel Facilities

The hostels are very well maintained with great facilities like wifi, attached bathroom, beautiful scenery and all the amenities that are required for daily use.1st year students get double accomodation room and in the 2nd year, everyone is provided with a single room.

Hostel Fee: INR 53000 per year

Interview Experience

4.5

Due to the prevailing pandemic, there were no Group discussion rounds being conducted. There was only the PI round which a person can get to by clearing the cutoff set by the CAP round. All the colleges that are part of the CAP round do provide the aspirants with PI preparation kits in which they include all the details and probable questions.

Campus life

Placement Experience:

For masters student student from 3rd semester are eligible for the campus placement. For bachelor students from 6-7 semester students are eligible for the campus placement. Federal bank, taj hotel, Techmutant software solutions, cradlewise, patanjali, etc. many more companies are there which visit the campus. There is 60-70% criteria for students to get the placement as 60% are the eligibility criteria for many companies and some companies have 70% eligibility criteria for the placement. Our university has 85% placement in dehradun region as compared to other universities. My plans are taking a good job and work hard to become independent.

i think from 3 rd semsester students are eligble for campus placements iam from 1 sem thats why i didnt eligble for that higest is like 20 lakhs and lowest is 3 lakhs per anam they show 90 percent but actually only 10 percent of students get placed i am planning to get a job ncr

Placement Experience:

At the end of end semesters college started to get internship and their are a number of them of every type. Students should choose it of any kind. For placement companies started to come in collage in 3rd semesters and one should apply for placement. Till now many companies were there including 99acers, Arvind fasion, Wipro, Google and so on.

Admission:

When you are selected through your CAT you need to pass through the GD and PI round. The topic of GD is related to current affairs and we were given 20 minutes. The PI round was for about 15 minutes and general questions were asked about my academics, my experience etc. I gave some mock interviews which helped me a lot for these rounds.

The IIM of the North

I found the admission process easier (Level Medium on Difficulty scale). The process started with the CAT application form, then the CAT exam, followed by a call letter for an Interview and then the selection email.
