Remarks

The institute stands at the 6th position among management colleges as per NIRFs evaluation.Applications for MBA program of DOMS IIT Roorkee are accepted for two categories of candidates namely those applying on the basis of CAT score and the other category of IIT Graduates who were admitted through JEE Advance examination. The shortlisted ones are invited to appear in personal Interview. In the case of 1st category applicants, weightage is assigned to work experience as well.

Course Curriculum Overview

The faculty-student ration is 1:6.25. It gets better when visiting faculty is also counted. The first year is invested in understanding the core concepts of management which are then taken to a higher level through internship training and then through opting for a specialisation in the second year. Specialisation is offered in Finance, Human Resource Management, Information Systems, Marketing and Operations.

Placement Experience

100% placements were achieved this year and students had 128 job opportunities in their hands. 30 companies were new additions to the recruiters of the institute. Highest CTC was INR 19 LPA and a average was INR 10.58 LPA. Monocept, ICICI Bank, Nilkamal, Ajit, IFFCO, Saavn, Oxane Partners and HCL were some of the top recruiters.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Total fees for MBA program is INR 8,00,000. It is paid in 4 instalments(an instalment of INR 2,00,000 every semester). Financial respite is available to students of SC/ST category as they need not pay the tuition fee.

Campus Life

The students of DOMS IIT Roorkee remain very active throughout the year in academic, cultural and sports activities. This is necessary for bringing out the best in oneself as a professional and diversity is valued everywhere. The domain clubs offer mistrial exposure in very many ways and reinforce the learned skills. Vittarth, MarkIIT, OperaZione, VyavaHR and Management Consulting are some of the domain clubs of the college.

Placement Experience:

In digital marketing nearly 90% it the students are placed in top startup companies like the Boat, Minimalist and all who needs digital presence to sell their products. Jobs offered are of 50-80k a month and for MBA freshers this is a kind package.

Placement Experience:

For masters student student from 3rd semester are eligible for the campus placement. For bachelor students from 6-7 semester students are eligible for the campus placement. Federal bank, taj hotel, Techmutant software solutions, cradlewise, patanjali, etc. many more companies are there which visit the campus. There is 60-70% criteria for students to get the placement as 60% are the eligibility criteria for many companies and some companies have 70% eligibility criteria for the placement. Our university has 85% placement in dehradun region as compared to other universities. My plans are taking a good job and work hard to become independent.

Placement Experience:

The placement rate is around 90%. Students become eligible for campus placements from the start of 3rd semester, although you can get in earlier through summer internship and ppos. Overall average package is around 8 lakh. Top 15% students get 14-17 lakh. Highest package for this year was 33 lakh. Many top companies like Amazon, Adani, EY, PwC, KPMG, Accenture, Adobe, Microsoft, Infosys, BlueDart, Dell, Deloitte, Genpact and more come to the campus. I aim on getting into big 4 consulting firms.

i think from 3 rd semsester students are eligble for campus placements iam from 1 sem thats why i didnt eligble for that higest is like 20 lakhs and lowest is 3 lakhs per anam they show 90 percent but actually only 10 percent of students get placed i am planning to get a job ncr

Placement Experience:

At the end of end semesters college started to get internship and their are a number of them of every type. Students should choose it of any kind. For placement companies started to come in collage in 3rd semesters and one should apply for placement. Till now many companies were there including 99acers, Arvind fasion, Wipro, Google and so on.

DOMS Roorkee experience of MBA

I applied for this position through the IIT Roorkee website and paid an Rs.1600 application fee. Admission was made solely on the basis of merit and personality. Actually I did my graduation from NIT Delhi and also wanted to maintain my MBA standard upto that for which IIT Roorkee was a great option. Management department of this institute is known for its high placements and also has AICTE approval.
