Remarks

I applied for this position through the IIT Roorkee website and paid an Rs.1600 application fee. Admission was made solely on the basis of merit and personality. I attempted the CAT exam twice in order to meet the cut-off, and on the second attempt, I was successful. My home is in Delhi, and IIT Roorkee was the closest and best institute nearby, which was the primary reason for my decision to enroll here. It is also highly ranked in the NIRF rankings.

Course Curriculum Overview

I was able to gain knowledge of core management concepts and techniques through the curriculum in the first year, which was followed by advanced knowledge and practicing skills in the areas of specialization chosen by us in the final year. When it came to the professors at DoMS, they were all very friendly, and because the class size was relatively small, we were all known by name. At any time, I could easily approach any faculty member. The faculty and the curriculum were both excellent. My MBA program lasted four semesters and two academic years.

Course Fees: INR 410000 per year

Placement Experience

Here, the placements are excellent. During my placement year, prestigious firms such as RBS, KPMG, Bristlecone, Vedanta, Infosys, HCL, MAZARS, Cognizant, ICICI Bank, Kelton Tech, TCS, and others came to recruit. Leading high-growth startups also offered sought-after positions like Product management. The average package offered to us was 14 lakhs and one even got a salary package as high as 18.7 lakhs by Deloitte.

Fees and Financial Aid

My MBA program's fee structure was a little high, around 8.2 lakhs for the entire 2-year program. The cost of the hostel was not included in this calculation. Because the fee was so high, the institute offered a variety of financial aid options to assist us.

Campus Life

I was able to take my education beyond the classroom and focus on exploration, experimentation, discovery, and realizing my potential. To assist us in accomplishing this, a variety of activities were developed to help me develop teamwork, trustworthiness, and the ability to synchronize my individual goals with the goals of the group. IIT Roorkee, in my opinion, has the best infrastructure facilities and a beautiful campus. I also took advantage of the numerous distractions available to us here, including Trekking, Rafting, Billiards, Table Tennis, Squash, Basket Ball, Lawn Tennis, Gymnasium, Himalayan Explorers Club, Hobbies Club, Boat Club, Swimming Pool, Sports Stadium, Library, and a variety of Hobbies Club.

Placement Experience:

In digital marketing nearly 90% it the students are placed in top startup companies like the Boat, Minimalist and all who needs digital presence to sell their products. Jobs offered are of 50-80k a month and for MBA freshers this is a kind package.

Placement Experience:

For masters student student from 3rd semester are eligible for the campus placement. For bachelor students from 6-7 semester students are eligible for the campus placement. Federal bank, taj hotel, Techmutant software solutions, cradlewise, patanjali, etc. many more companies are there which visit the campus. There is 60-70% criteria for students to get the placement as 60% are the eligibility criteria for many companies and some companies have 70% eligibility criteria for the placement. Our university has 85% placement in dehradun region as compared to other universities. My plans are taking a good job and work hard to become independent.

Placement Experience:

The placement rate is around 90%. Students become eligible for campus placements from the start of 3rd semester, although you can get in earlier through summer internship and ppos. Overall average package is around 8 lakh. Top 15% students get 14-17 lakh. Highest package for this year was 33 lakh. Many top companies like Amazon, Adani, EY, PwC, KPMG, Accenture, Adobe, Microsoft, Infosys, BlueDart, Dell, Deloitte, Genpact and more come to the campus. I aim on getting into big 4 consulting firms.

i think from 3 rd semsester students are eligble for campus placements iam from 1 sem thats why i didnt eligble for that higest is like 20 lakhs and lowest is 3 lakhs per anam they show 90 percent but actually only 10 percent of students get placed i am planning to get a job ncr

Insights of the college through student eye

Placement Experience:

At the end of end semesters college started to get internship and their are a number of them of every type. Students should choose it of any kind. For placement companies started to come in collage in 3rd semesters and one should apply for placement. Till now many companies were there including 99acers, Arvind fasion, Wipro, Google and so on.

The institute stands at the 6th position among management colleges as per NIRFs evaluation.Applications for MBA program of DOMS IIT Roorkee are accepted for two categories of candidates namely those applying on the basis of CAT score and the other category of IIT Graduates who were admitted through JEE Advance examination. Remarks:

MBA programme of IIT Roorkee

Actually I did my graduation from NIT Delhi and also wanted to maintain my MBA standard upto that for which IIT Roorkee was a great option. Management department of this institute is known for its high placements and also has AICTE approval. In 2019,NIRF ranked it 11th while Times group gave it 48th place for their respective MBA programme rankings.
