MBA programme of IIT Roorkee

Actually I did my graduation from NIT Delhi and also wanted to maintain my MBA standard upto that for which IIT Roorkee was a great option. Management department of this institute is known for its high placements and also has AICTE approval. In 2019,NIRF ranked it 11th while Times group gave it 48th place for their respective MBA programme rankings. For admissions to the institute the CAT cutoff is always high while along with that PI, group exercise, work experience and past academic performances are also checked

I think I don't need to explain about the course quality of DoMS IIT Roorkee as being a part of IIT group is more than enough to speak about the educational services of the institute. Our department has over 25 teachers and among them most have completed their studies from institutions like NITs, IITs, IISc, BITs etc. Learning about management from such experienced experts was itself a blessing for me.

The name IIT Roorkee attracted a good number of companies for internship round of MBA programme also and I think it was a great experience for those who lack the work skills and also those wishing to learn more about the industrial working cultures. It was a very successful round as far as the job offers were concerned.

B.Tech programmes of IIT Roorkee are the flagship one's but the DOMS here is equally famous for its MBA programme. The 2020 placements had around 40 well known companies in the recruiters among which the top one's were Airtel, HDFC, HCL technologies, Accenture, KPMG, Deloitte and Cognizant. The highest salary for MBA programme during campus placements of 2020 was INR 19 lacs and the average salary was also pretty good. The salary I got was worth INR 14 Lacs per annum

The fee of MBA programme here was quite similar to that of IIT Mumbai or IIT Madras's MBA programmes. DOMS IIT Roorkee charges INR 8.19 Lacs from the MBA students and this fee is paid into 4 equal terms of INR 2 Lacs, which is the tuition fee and the other 19,000 Rupees are added itself into the first shift of the programme fee

Like all institutes under the IIT group, IIT Roorkee also gives utmost importance to provide students with an well-being in all states through its events, facilities and societies.Regalia,Cognizance,Sangharsh and Thomso were probably the best things activities of the campus life at DOMS IIT Roorkee.All sports activities were arranged by the sports committee of our college. A well organised library, 24*7 internet equipped computer laboratory and various food outlets were available for the students in our campus.

IIT Roorkee not only offers MBA but along with that the famous Engineering courses, doctorate courses and other management courses are also there and to provide accommodation services to all a total of 13 hostels have been made.They are divided as per the gender diversity among the students and living there was filled with comfortness, making memories and having some really great food varieties in the mess menu. Some sports facilities are also available at IIT Roorkee hostels

Candidates having over 94 percentile in their CAT entrance exam stand a decent chance to get a seat in the MBA programme of our college while alot still depends on the performance they give during the personal interview and group round. If the candidate gives a good enough performance in all of them, the overall chances of admission enhance pretty much.
