Remarks

At IIT Roorkee, education stretches beyond classroom sessions. The quality of Department of Management in teaching is of top notch. I was pleased by the top rankings of college along with the IIT brand name. An MBA from DOMS IIT Roorkee will surely benefit in my careeer building. And it proved correct after my studies. IIT Roorkee awarded 1st rank among all engineering institutes for its Management Course. in Times Higher Education (THE) World University Rankings 2019.DoMS, IIT Roorkee was ranked 9th in NIRF Ranking 2018 overall and 2nd in research among the Indian Management InstitutesDoMS, IIT Roorkee was ranked 14th in TOP MBA COLLEGES 2018 by Career 360.

Course Curriculum Overview

The MBA from IIT brand is good. Department offers dual specialization in functional areas like Marketing, Finance, Operations, Human resource management and Information technology. The teacher student ratio of 1:6.25.

Placement Experience

Students are provided good placement offers. In Summer placement report of 2019-2020, the highest stipend was INR 100000, overall average stipend was INR 60000. In final placement session the highest CTC was INR 19 LPA and average CTC was INR 10.71 LPA.The top recruiters are Deloitte, EY, Paytm, HCL, Cognizant, Vedanta, ICICI Bank, Infosys, ZS, KPMG, RBS etc.

Fee Structure And Facilities

INR 8,00,000 is the total course fees for 2 years. Security, mess charges, hostel and other institute charges should be paid in extra. the fees are subjected to revision in year. SC/ST candidates are exempted from paying tuition fee. Students can get educational bank loans from SBI and Punjab National Bank. Several scholarships and fee waivers also given from college. Financial help is provided as free studentship to students belonging to the scheduled castes and scheduled tribes.

The Master of Business Administration (MBA) at IIT Roorkee is a 4 semester residential regular program spread over two academic years. These days are provided me a lifelong memories and experiences. ROI is the best compared to other elite business and mangement education institutes. The facilities include Wifi campus, Trekking, Rafting, Billiards, Table Tennis, Squash, Basket Ball, Lawn Tennis, Gymnasium, Himalayan Explorers Club, Hobbies Club, Boat Club, Swimming Pool, Sports Stadium, Library, Hobbies Club, Canteen, Hostel etc.

Placement Experience:

For masters student student from 3rd semester are eligible for the campus placement. For bachelor students from 6-7 semester students are eligible for the campus placement. Federal bank, taj hotel, Techmutant software solutions, cradlewise, patanjali, etc. many more companies are there which visit the campus. There is 60-70% criteria for students to get the placement as 60% are the eligibility criteria for many companies and some companies have 70% eligibility criteria for the placement. Our university has 85% placement in dehradun region as compared to other universities. My plans are taking a good job and work hard to become independent.

i think from 3 rd semsester students are eligble for campus placements iam from 1 sem thats why i didnt eligble for that higest is like 20 lakhs and lowest is 3 lakhs per anam they show 90 percent but actually only 10 percent of students get placed i am planning to get a job ncr

Placement Experience:

At the end of end semesters college started to get internship and their are a number of them of every type. Students should choose it of any kind. For placement companies started to come in collage in 3rd semesters and one should apply for placement. Till now many companies were there including 99acers, Arvind fasion, Wipro, Google and so on.

I applied for this position through the IIT Roorkee website and paid an Rs.1600 application fee. Admission was made solely on the basis of merit and personality. I attempted the CAT exam twice in order to meet the cut-off, and on the second attempt, I was successful. Actually I did my graduation from NIT Delhi and also wanted to maintain my MBA standard upto that for which IIT Roorkee was a great option. Management department of this institute is known for its high placements and also has AICTE approval.
