The Exam process is WBJEE, based on your ranking you'll be provided colleges that you're eligible for. I got Meghnad Saha institute of technology in the 3rd round of Counselling. So I went for it. Placements were really good. Internship opportunities are there. Go for it.

ELECTRONICS AND COMMUNICATION OR ECE IS A core as well as IT based subject, where you'll get to learn good it based work and electronics and network related work. In Meghnad Saha, ECE has a really good faculty and campus placement support.

Placement Experience

Students from the 3rd Year 6th Semester are eligible for the Campus Placements and who have CGPA more than 6.0 are eligible to sit for the Campus Placements. The Average packages for every company providing is 3.6LPA and The Highest package provided this year is 32LPA, by Amazon SDE. Companies such as CTS,TCS, WIPRO, CAPGEMINI, MINDTREE, AMAZON, BRITISH TELECOMM etc and many more are there.

Fees and Financial Aid

The yearly fees is upto 1Lac and Per semester it is divided to 30k and 40k Minority scholarships and different facilities are available in the college of Meghnad Saha institute of Technology which is registered under TECHNO INDIA GROUP.

Campus Life

Fests such as Cultural Fests and Tech Fests are very Active in the College, there are robotic groups and many Tech groups for innovative ideas and opportunities. Social groups on Facebook and whatspp are there for extra curricular activities. Cricket football carrom etc many gaming events are also held.

NIT Durgapur:-A wholesome Insight in the college life and it's different aspects

Placement Experience:

For campus placements student become eligible from the 7th semester onwards and for internships student get eligible from 5th semester onwards. Wide no of companies visited our campus around 180+ and made around 580+ offers to the students. The highest salary was 58LPA which was offered by DE Shaw and the highest accepted salary was 51LPA in Microsoft.The average package rolls roughly around 10-12 LPA.The profile offered include SDE roles, management roles,finance in some cases.The overall placement percentage was around 80% with Branches like electrical and metallurgy moving above 90% followed by CSE and ECE in the mid 80s while for biotech and civil the placement percentage are generally below 70.My plans after getting the degree is to land a job offer from on campus placements.Therefafter maybe look out for and MBA from top B schools of india.

placement is very good in this college many tech giants vist the campus such as google microsoft delloite apple tata steels, thhe average package is about 16 lpa highest is 80lpa approx 148 companes visted this year and total offer for cse is 157 out of 190

Placements depends on your skills Usually there is a compulsory internship at the end of 3rd year If you didnt get it via college you should do it from outside but its compulsory And at the end of 4th year you get placement. I got this college by counselling as per my WBJEE rank. This was the best college I got according to my rank and was very good.
