Remarks

I did my diploma in computer science from Jss Polytechnic Mysore and took DCET my ranking was 3322 from which I was able to take a seat through general merit in The National Institute of Engineering Mysore.

Course Curriculum Overview

I did my diploma in computer science so I took information science. The faculties are good teaching method is slightly different because it is an autonomous institute and the exams were conducted as per it was to be but it was moderate to pass the exams.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 54000 per year

Internships Opportunities

I did my internship at Entelika Consultancy and IT services in the area of Azure machine learning the stipend was 2000 there were two projects in the final year considering 7th sem it was a mini project I did product expiry tracker and 8the sem major project which I did was blockchain based secure IOT solution for the Dam surveillance and attended the workshop on Robotics.

Placement Experience

During the 4th year the students are able to attend placements there were many companies which visited such as Wipro, Cisco, Mercedes Benz, Infosys, Accenture, Bosh etc the highest company package was 17lakh per annum 80%-90% students get placed.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees structure depends on the quota that you take for management it is costly up to 2.5lakh for general merit it costs 54000 the college provides an internship I did my internship in Entelika consultancy and IT services.

Campus Life

College life is so much fun and the infrastructure of the college is well maintained and the classrooms are wider the books are lent from the library. College fest is conducted every year called as TechNIEks which is much more exciting social life is good.

Interview Experience

No, there is no such interview during admission our DCET ranking depends on what course to apply and the fee structure the process of admission is to fill the form with our details pay the fees and then college allows us to create a student profile from which we can select the subject and give feedback.

Placement Experience:

Students in my college have a very good amount of campus placements where students become eligible from the final year 7th semester however the placement cell starts training from the 1st year means 1st semester itself like training for aptitude test, coding and mock interviews. Top it companies like TCS infosys, wipro, Accenture, capgemini, cognizant, IBM, tech mahindra mind tree. The campus receives 300+ offers. The average package 8 - 10 LPA and highest package 54 LPA. Every year 90% students are placed. After my degree i am planning to higher studies in abroad.

My College Story

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is generally detailed and aligned with industry Expectations but there is still scope for modernisation in certain areas.Overall i would like to rate 8/10. The syllabus include both theoretical and multiple lab components which ensures hands on learning. The practical labs like programming work and project with learning help students understand how concepts are applied in real work places. A few theory heavy subjects feel outdated and no longer match the current industry demand this could be revised or replaced.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for placements from the 6th semester, but the overall placement scenario in DSCE for CSE is below average. Not even 50% of students get placed in good companies. Most students end up getting offers from mass recruiters or in sales and non-tech roles. Only a small percentage of top performers get decent technical packages. Companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Capgemini, Accenture, Cognizant, and a few mid-tier companies visit the campus, but the number of high-package, core-tech roles is very limited. The average package is on the lower side compared to other top COMEDK colleges. Because of this, many students plan for higher studies, certification courses, or off-campus drives after completing the degree. The on-campus placement support definitely needs improvement, especially for technical roles.”

My Honest College Experience at CIT(Cambridge Institute of Technology)

Placement Experience:

The students who are studying in 7th semester ( final year) are eligible for campus placements but before that in 5th semester there is pre placement training like aptitude everything. Top companies visit for placement like TCS , infosys, wipro, accenture, capegemini, IBM, techmahindra, Mindtree. Average there are 150-250 offers. Average package is 7-8 lpa. The highest package is 54 lpa at botify company. 85 % of students get placed at cse branch and ai amd ml and civil 30 - 50% . Overall 80% students gets placed. My plan is join a top product based company liek google with a good life.

A complete discipline with education

Placement Experience:

The placement are good average packages 8 lakhs highest packages 35 lakhs and the companies include Google ,Microsoft ,service now companies and usually internships are provided as students become eligible for internship after 3rd year percentage of students getting placement 80% my plans still not yet decided

I got admission in this college from entrance exam named comedk it is conducted all over India. In comedk questions will b asked on 12th phy chem and maths. I got seat via KCET. KCET is held once a year . It's engineering entrance exam for colleges in Karnataka. After the exam there will be counseling and usually the cutoff for NIE Mysore CSE and ISE is around 5k to 6k .
