Remarks
It was a friendly process with favorable work culture. Everyone was helpful and supported enough to adjust to the new atmosphere. Never felt a place far away than home. It was guided well and was a good experience.
Course Curriculum Overview
Due to the keen interest in coding and the favorable environment of sikkim i was attracted to this course. The ratio was one faculty looking after almost 15-20 students. Faculties opt to explore the new curriculum of the world and help student to learn and cooe up with the course and subject materials. Exams and tese were taken in an interval of every 3-5 weeks.
Internships Opportunities
As per the scenario i have seen, there is minimal negative feedback about the internship offered and its quality. Different companies have different needs and technology varies upon the situation and projects they get.
Placement Experience
Campus placement is mainly focused for students of third and fourth year students with the connection of many companies and studemts are selected euth the cgpa cutoff in the first round of selection and according to the policies of hiring companies.i am planning for further studies.
Fees and Financial Aid
As compared to other universities and colleges, fee hike rate is always found to be grounded and suitable for middle class parents inorder to pay as asked. Students are facilitated with benovelent fund if any financial downfall.
Campus Life
We have different fests focusing on the technical and cultural interests of the students. SMIT consists of a huge library with the collection of around 69000 to 70000 variety of books and journal's. Physical health and mental health are equally focused providing a separate sports arena with lots of sports in a designated area despite the land slopes as it is well maintained in a small area. And finally SMit consist of around 22 clubs accommodating students with variety of interests.
Hostel Facilities
SMIT consists of 4 hostels i.e Hostel number 1 and 2 for boys and remaining foe girls with designated mess and canteens for both the genders facilitating the foods and bebrages for 90percentage of students where as remaining 10 percentage are dayscholars
