I had applied in Shyama Prasad college for BCom honors. The admission process was so easy and understandable by the student. First I register on the Delhi University website then after a one-month cut-off schedule comes on DU portal. After cut-off schedule come I match the eligibility criteria of cutoffs with colleges and applied in that college where I am eligible. Cutoffs are displayed on the duportal and a suggestive percentage was also displayed on the portal. Then after deciding on the college you can fill application on your duportal regarding that college.

I choose the bachelor in commerce honors course because I am from a commerce background and this course is most finest in Delhi University. The faculty of our is experienced and qualified with relevant knowledge. They are helpful and supportive and teaches everything in detail. The semester exams in our college have moderate levels, they are not very tough. A detailed study is important to clear the exams.Teachers in our college are helpful, qualified and knowledgeable. They are teaching online in a very good manner and which is understandable. The curriculum is also relevant.

New startups like Yaadgar Safar, are some of the internships that are offered with different profiles like marketing, graphics designer, content writers, HR, with the basic stipend of 2000 to 15000 with respect to the roles.

Students who score about 92-94% percentage in academics got placed in the year 2020. Placements in our college are not that good. Mostly, startups visit our college for placement. The salary package offered ranges from 3-4 LPA. However, the placement cell provides an internship for the role of a content writer, business development associate, and a relatively small role like this. I am pursuing B.Com Hons, and I got many internship opportunities in various profiles like graphic designing, social media marketing, human resource manager, content writing, etc., from various companies, which provided a great experience in different fields.

The college fees is so affordable like any student can get admission in this college easily. As it is a Delhi University College their fees is very less as compared to private colleges. Our college also provides scholarships and internships from many companies with stipend.

The college is anti-ragging and very strict towards it. The infrastructure is good. The campus is lush greenery. It has a well-equipped library with a fantastic range of books across different subjects. The college does not have hostels attached to it. However, there are a lot of PGs near and around the college campus. The area around the college is safe and secure.The infrastructure of the college is very good with greenery, a well-equipped library, proper medical facilities with a medical room, a gym, playground, spacious and ventilated classrooms. The labs are also spacious and well-equipped. The canteen is also very good with food available at affordable prices.
