Remarks

Yes, I applied for city College but it was a little far from the station then I decided to do my graduation from bangabasi college. So I took admission with BCom Honours as I had 50% marks in accountancy. The admission process was a little lengthy and there was no counseling as such. Everyone was helpful there in the college so I didn't face that many problems. As I took admission through the union so had to pay 15,000 including Actual admission fees.

Course Curriculum Overview

2.5

I always wanted to study accounting and business so I opted for honors in accountancy and finance. The faculty was good and well behaved but there were very few classes as most classes used to be empty due to the absence of teachers. There were sufficient number of students of 180 and more than 60% used to come but classes were very less. Teachers were well qualified and teaching quality was quite commendable and understanding but we had very less classes due to lack of teachers. We had semester exams after every 6 months which we had to pass through our own study and at times it was difficult to pass due to poor guidance but we passed somehow.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees and other charges were reasonable so that everyone could afford them. There were no scholarships except for SC, ST caste students for being SC, ST caste people. We didn't get any job or stipend over there. We just attended some classes and took exams to graduate and no other facilities or help was there.

Campus Life

3.5

There was a fest and programs but we had to pay for that so I didn't take part or go to attend. There were many books available in the library for students. students could read over there or borough the books to their home for studying. The classrooms only had benches to sit on and write and a blackboard and nothing else. There were no other extracurricular activities except for dance in functions. Only NCC was there for students and football/cricket for boys to play. There was an anti-ragging cell for students for any kind of help they want any time. There were rooms to sit and surf the internet. There were Facebook pages for students run by some senior students to provide every kind of information about college and also WhatsApp groups to know about every event, exam, changes in classes, notices.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course is of course outdated. Teaching methods are old. No case studies, competitions or project of any sort is there in the curriculum. Although a project of 100 marks is there in the final sem, but I don't think that's enough. There is no practicality in the curriculum and usability in career. The syllabus really needs an uplifment.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is average , I chose this course because I wanted to do an honours degree and I'm from commerce background so my first pick was B.Com . They really put efforts to prepare students for well future , as I said earlier some teachers are genuinely very good helpful supporting and good at what they do . Something they need to approve is the 70% attendance criteria, I think they need to understand not every student is just persuing graduation they are doing some other courses or jobs etc so they can't maintain 70% attendance . The frequency of timing is average

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course Curriculum is Comprehensive, focused equally on Academics and Practical Exposure.. I chose because of that extra year of research I can choose to do in my final year (4th year) of graduation and I'll have an Hons. Degree at the end of 4th year of my college... Practical insights makes sure we are being trained to tackle practical world and academic knowledge ensures we are eligible to apply for further Education.. I will say more focus on Practical Exposure and a little extra focus on Sports May Take This Curriculum to a different level..

• The specific aspects of the curriculum are the subjects including in this course are related to the industry that will help students to build their career in this competitive world and I choose the course as I wanted to pursue a professional course after graduation. • The curriculum prepares us pretty well for real world applications as there are subjects like management that helps students to understand things very clearly and apply it in the real world. • The frequency and timing of exams is perfect and my perspective on the difficulty level is that the exams are not at all difficult.
