Entrance Preview

I took my EAMCET exam to get into this college and I scored 75 in my exam. I got this seat through management quota. After reviewing all the available top colleges.

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

Electronics and communications engineering is one of the most sought after branches in the present day. If someone is really interested in it there is a lot of scope for research not only in the college. But also in the future because communication is one of the most important thing in the present day world and it's a wonderful way to start off your career.

Internships Opportunities

Our college does not provide internships at least for our branch. As far as I know I have not know people doing internships during the college phrase.

Placement Experience

3.5

The placements are pretty good when compared to the colleges of its level. The chances of getting a job are good if you are able to maintain at least 60 percent without much backlogs. There haven't been very high package offered during our placements time but most of the packages offered were good by the companies around 3.6 Lac per annum.

College Events

3

There are two events that happen in the college every year. One is the technical fest names Pragnya and the other fest is the cultural fest which is named pulse. This is time when the students can a chance to showcase there talents especially during the technical fest we get an opportunity to know what is happening in the other branches.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure is reasonable according to me. Since I'm from management quota my fee structure is totally different. My fee is around 1L per annum which does not include mess or transport fee. The transport fee is around 15k-20k and the mess bill depends upon what we eat and usually a plate meals costs around 40rs.

Fees and Financial Aid

I have not heard about any such scholarship or loan facilities being provided by my college. I don't think there is such an option available.

Alumni/Alumna

The alumni network and the seniors are very helpful. And there are different timings for each year which decreases the chances of ragging.

Exam Structure

The exam structure is pretty good and not so hectic. They follow the JNTU structure pattern that we need to score 40 out of 100 to pass with a min of 26 out of 75 in the external exams. The exams aren't hectic since the mid exams are usually best of 2 which makes its a lot easier.

Placement here are going on pretty well considering the recession that hit the market in recent years, student become eligible for placements from the first sem of their final year , typically 7th semester for single degree students (BE) and 9th semester for dual degree students (Msc+BE),as per the recent cycle around 310+ companies including Google, MIcrosoft,Goldman sachs etc. had visited campus with offer majorly ranging from 18 to 27 lpa , the highest package last cycle (domestic) was for 65lpa and average aroun 21 lpa. The perecentage of students getting placed is above 80% and remaining usually go on for pursuing masters or already have a PPO from the Practice School Internship.I personally will be sitting for placements in my last year and will be hoping to land a good offer.

Internships starts from spring break of 4th sem and placements start from spring break of 6th sem ( if you don't get a PPO ) Many big companies like Microsoft , Oracle , DeShaw and Qualcom visit the college. More than 80% of student that are eligible for placements get placed while the others get off campus placements or opt for higher studies. My plans after getting th degree depends on the CTC of package I get offered. If it is not upto my expectation I will pursue higher education abroad.
