Career in RV

The admission was a simple process and was not confusing as to where students and parents had to go for admissions. The campus does an excellent job in making sure all the candidates are well versed with the admission process along with the parents.

Civil engineering always intrigued me and I was always keen to learn more and more, The course handling faculty do an amazing job and are always updated with the new techs and etc. There are about 40 teachers and 130 students from one year in civil Engg. All the faculties are either Ph.D. holders or are pursuing doctorates, Exams were conducted once every month and were also good, knowledgeable as well.

Internship opportunities usually come with placements. Apart from this, students can take up internships from third-party organizations on their own as well. This usually helps in character building, CV improvements as well.

Students gain eligibility from the 3rd year, 6th semester for the placements. This year, companies such as Airbus, ZS Associates, EXL services, Flipkart, etc visited the civil department for placements. The highest offer was around 12lpa and the average lies around 7 or 8 LPA. Almost 80% of the students get placed in college every year. I plan to take up masters after my degree.

I got in through the CET quota and the fees breakup was 54000+38000 college fees. The college constantly provides scholarships from different sources but the students have to be updated with the same and should be in constant touch with the department.

The library is one of the best places in the entire college to study and to have some peace of mind. There are individual departmental libraries as well inside the department buildings and students can easily avail themselves the facility to borrow books from the same. All classes are well equipped with projectors and green boards. there are numerous different clubs run by the students in the college. A few of them are NSS NCC Rotaract etc.
