Remarks

IIM, good pedigree, intelligent students, acceptance across industry, placements were the good aspects. Admission process had was strealined where we just had to deposit first dd of 50K to confirm admission and submit educational documents.

Course Curriculum Overview

1:9 faculty student ratio. I chose finance because of my interest and good professors. Trimester pattern was followed in college with mid and end term exams. Exams used to conducted after aroun 45-50 days.

Internships Opportunities

Intership assistance is provided from college where many corporates used to participate. Average stipend was around 1 lakh

Placement Experience

Placements support is provided with 100% placement rate. Along with that internship support was also provided which was again 100%. Many esteem names like EY, HDFC, Reliance, etc come for placement and imternship giving multiple offers for multiple roles. Highest package was ove 54 lakhs in 2018 with average package of over 13.5 lakhs

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fees was supposed to be paid at start of every trimester which was around 1.7 lakhs. Central scholarship, home state level scholarship etc were open to be availed along with corporate scholarship. I got both paid internship and job from campus.

Campus Life

College is spread over 200 acres of land. Hostel had individual rooms with individual toilet and bathrooms. A common hall and kitchen including oven, refrigerator, washing machine and basic furnitures was provided for a floor of 6 students each. Annual fest including educational and cultural competitions/ programs were conducted. Corporated immersion programs are conducted annually where speakers from different background, different field come and share their knowledge and wisdom from corportae world

Hostel Facilities

Hostel was compulsory. Seperate room with attached bathrooms were provided. Common kitchen and hall with washing machine, refrigerator, oven, filter etc were provided on each floor among 6 students. Daily cleaning facility is provided

Admission

Written test was taken. Topic given was my dream startup which was followed by interview. It was conducted by 3 panelist who were professors of IIM Trichy and Raipur.

A well rounded experience at GEHU dehradun .

Placement Experience:

At GEHU, placement eligibility starts from the 6th semester. companies like TCS, Wipro, Infosys and Amazon visit the campus. The highest package offered is around 35LPA and the average is 4-6LPA. About 70-80% of students get placed , mainly in IT and management roles. After completing my degree I plan to work in the industry and later pursue higher studies.

Placement Experience:

Placement are fine I won't say good for our course most of students prefer for higher students so the placement percentage will be 50- 60 . Student are eligible in their last for placement . Placement are provided by college but if you want off campus it's the students choice . The companies are :- United bioceuticals, ALPS , graphic era hospital etc.

UPES University brings in a different energy!!

Placement Experience:

Infy, Techno India, Brumha and many as techies are required all over. From a watchmaker to salt maker without a techie a business can't grow big. So, even though there are 500+ CSE students still 75 percent or so get placed easily from our campus.

The IIM of the North

I found the admission process easier (Level Medium on Difficulty scale). The process started with the CAT application form, then the CAT exam, followed by a call letter for an Interview and then the selection email.
