Remarks

Here faculty is very humble and helpful who provide a very good environment for studies and extra curricular activities. Weather and nature beauty is admirable. Wide areas to explore , opportunity to meet people of different regions.

Course Curriculum Overview

This course has wide area of future scope in research field , industries for job and I find it very interesting. All faculy members are highly qualified (P.hd) and teach in best possible way by giving lots of real world examples.

In M.tech after 2nd semester students become eligible for campus placements.Lots of companies visit here but very less companies for core branches of m.tech.Companies like greyB, suzuki, ecom express visits.

Campus Life

Annually one tech fest and one fest is conducted there ( one fest each semester). Availability of books and research papers are quite impressive there.Lots of extracurricular activities, sports, course are conducted there.

Admission

No, there are not any interview or group discussion. M.tech addmission was based on GATE score and graduation , certain gate score or air is required to get addmission.

Likes

Infrastructure and quality of education and supportive professor for building our success career
Very supportive atmosphere for growth in any engineer branch
Very good approach towards creativity innovations and practical projects

Dislikes

Lack of auditoriium so most of gathering will be in open air theatre

A few reputed companies visit the campus each year, but the number of offers and salary packages varies depending on the branch and market conditions. Students who have strong academic performance, technical skills, internships, and good communication skills generally have better chances of getting placed.

Ayurvedic college

Likes

Campus is very big and surrounded by many mountains
Herbal garden contains many herbal plants
Different menu each day, Unlimited food, Everyday non-veg except Friday, Sweets and Ice Creams, and about the taste “it is better than most of the high rated hotels”. It is not a buffet system, servers will serve the food to each and every student.

Dislikes

Don't have good transport facility and situated in very backward area
Buildings are olds and have very unhygienic washroom
No big ground and sport facility in college no gym and laundry

Course curriculum is very fine and elaborated This curriculum is very good help students to prepare for competitive exam By removing topic which is not correlate with syllabus Every month periodic test after 6 months term test And after 16 month final exam

The faculty and staff are well qualified appx. all are phd .
The junior senior interaction is good .
There is good coding culture and all senior all helpful .

Dislikes

Area of college is 15 km from una city .
The curriculum us hectic in each semester it has atleast 6 subject.

My college offer above good placement . About 85-90% of the eligible student get placed with median package of 9 lakh and average of 11 lakh . Our placement incharge is Nistha Hooda. Highest placement is of 60 lakh and minimum is 4 lakh

The college campus is a pretty nice place to explore and it's beauty will make sure to bring you close to nature
Noone can get bored by the interesting assignments you get during your course

Dislikes

Many of the infrastructure and basic requirements are lacking
There can be more educational tours for students
More attention needs to be paid towards the career guidance

Everyone know that agriculture is of great importance and it's worth is increasing on a daily basis and opting for this course helps to learn various scientific methods to allow in the improvement of the traditional farming methods. With the help of agriculture extension.. these technologies are provided and being taught to different farmers and stakeholders. This course also allows us to get the practical knowledge by different field works.

i like availability of nice infrastructure amid the beautiful valley of shimla and also practical knowledge as heavy flow of patients is there.
a lot of patients are there thats why easy for students to access things
faculty is also nice they are doctors so learning from their experience come in handy

Dislikes

cafeteria needs to improve as there is no availability of variety in food
some people tend to take upper hands because of authority
due to large batch size some students tend to be hidden among masses

course curriculum is relevant and necessary. sometimes the professors who are basically doctors and not teachers tend to burden some students with lack of understanding and teaching which is difficult but is manageable

The nursing college

Likes

College provides great intership opportunity....i have learnt alot in my internship
Fee is really affordable keeping in mind the benefits we are provided with
Staff is really cooperative and understanding

Dislikes

campus Isn't that great....there is no facility of a playground or a spacious library
There is no males in here and It's all girls college
the management of the college Isn't that good

Course Curriculum Overview:

Nursing is all about skills, and the more practice you do, the better...i spent most of my time in hospital with patients for at least 9 months ever year....the duty used to be of 6 hours and the rest 2 hours we used to have a class till 4 pm Ut was a bit hectic but it really helped me in clearing all my concepts and improving my skills in handling a patient also the internship program is like cherry on top so good it covers everything you learn in 4 years and makes you ready for the outer world....I would say in terms of improvement, they need to reschedule their classes and clinicals timing because it gets draining and we don't get much time to study, so we usually just study because we used to be so exhausted.

I loved the beautiful view out here the different varieties of flowers, Greenery , this university also held many kinds of club like socal club, eco friendly club and many more
I like that this university always take care about nature beauty they grow many trees for oxygen
They also serve society provide basic needs to poor people also running a club for poor people donate them food, shelter and clothes

Dislikes

I don't like the faculty of this university like they never co-operate with childrens they come and complete their duties and go
They only take care about there repo they don't care about students here half of the boys drink alcohol they just ignore them and move to next
Teacher have no sense of talking with students they behave like trash I'm very disappointed with this university at first they show their image like a clear paper but after entering there i came to know the real image of this university

Course curriculum is zero they never show any kind of efforts in teaching our exams were going on and one subject teacher just send notes and said Learn it and write exams like she never attended class not even one class business studies teacher just come teach give homework and go and next day come and ask questions if students don't know answer just say them to get out from the class is this the way to talk with students they are not their servents never ask if they have any kind of doubts and maths teacher just write question and their solution and read that solution students come here to learn something but they behave like trash

I like the campus, there is greenery all over the campus.
Sports and cultural clubs and the festivals
very good wifi facility in the campus. And good gender ratio in institute

Dislikes

Climate is hot during summer. But winters are appreciable
Mess food is not good that much.. but we can eat.
Sometimes in hostel there is non availability of water . In bathrooms

I chose this course because it has more scope in India as India is a developing country. It also has government jobs more than other fields. We can shift to it sector this is the flexibility of this course.

Everything about my college

When I was applying for engineering, I had filled applications for a few other NITs and state engineering colleges, but finally I chose NIT Hamirpur because of its good academic reputation, supportive campus environment, and better placement opportunities compared to the others. Some colleges I applied to had very high cutoffs and I couldn’t make it there because my JEE Main score was slightly lower than required, but NIT Hamirpur’s cutoff matched my rank, so I got admission here. The admission process was through JEE Main followed by JoSAA counseling, which is the most common and preferred route for B.Tech aspirants. The eligibility was 12th pass with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics, and the cutoff for civil engineering here was comparatively achievable for me. The overall admission process was transparent and smooth, from registering for counseling to final seat allotment.
