Remarks

Premier Institute for Higher Education. Professors at the Physics Department are very intelligent and supportive. World Class Lab Facilities with all round development and exposure to substantial research prompted me to go for NIT Silchar.

Course Curriculum Overview

Student ratio is excellent. Professors are very supportive and will always back you. They are just like your family. Most of the Faculties are from IIT and other prestigious Central Universities. Exams were not much tough and were based on what had been taught in class.

Class Size: 11Course Fees: INR 100000 per year

Placement Experience

Campus Placements are good though the potential is yet untapped due to the less exposure to North East. Most of the students from Masters though opt for Higher studies. In Mtech Computer Science the highest package was 13LPA.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fees is minimal. 25000 per semester and is comparatively very less than other premier institutes. Fees include Mess fees and hostel fees too. The institute provides ample opportunities for jobs and internships

Campus Life

Campus is extremely beautiful. It is surrounded by a Tea Garden and it gives a majestic feeling to the campus. The campus have 16 lakes. It's very scenic and magnificent. Library is the 2nd Largest Digital Library in all of Asia. It's one of the best you will get in the country. Many different fests are conducted all around the year like Techneosis.

Hostel Facilities

Newly built hostels are very good. Rooms are spacious and cleanliness is good. Mess food is similar to any other institute in the country, if you know what I mean. Hostel fees and registration process is hastle free.

Admission

The selection criteria is IIT JAM Entrance Exam. For the preparation of entrance exam I followed the Samvedna Publication books which are more than handy to qualify.

A breif review about kc das commerce college

Placement Experience:

Mainly students from 5th semester are recommended for campus placements and many local comapanies have made a visit in our college Highest package provided is around 8 lakh per annum and the average package being provided is around 3.5 lakh to 4 lakh per annum Percentage of students being placed are around 50 to 60 percent all total My plans after getting degree is to pursue mba from highly reputated college

Course Curriculum Overview:

Faculty members were quite slow in some aspects. Yet they need to work on the staff for the admission department. Would definitely look up for improvement for the coming sessions. Haven't had any class yet due to covid but they say it's gonna start soon. Hope we don't lose out this year.

It's very good college with very Active and intelligent Teacher's, HOD, student's and many staff people. It is affiliated with a very good University called Assam University. I choose B.sc in zoology becouse I want to become a Teacher with zoology subject.

Remarks:

This is the best college I founded in the entire northeast. This college is good for its goodwill from the year of its establishment. In my point of view, this is the best institution I have seen. That is why I give them positive remarks from my point of view.

NIT Silchar Everything You need to know

I chose this collgege because it is in my homestate has a great allumni connection , great placement and highly qualified faculties. The other colleges I applied for were NIT Durgapur , AEC,NIT callicut,IIIT Pune,NIT Andhra Pradesh. NIT SIlchar has largest campus amomg all these colleges...and a great placement. I couldn't get into NIT Calicut because my rank was not good enough, I got NIT andhra Pradesh CIvil but I didn't like the branch . This is good college overall and it's placement record is far better than other private colleges and most of NIT so I choose here CSE . Is NIT Silchar a good University?

Ine josaa counseling , I had applied it for NIT Silchar and Assam University Silchar. NIT Silchar is found to be better than Assam University in various rankings like NIRF ranking etc. Students have to appear for joint entrance examination to get admission in b.tech courses in NIT Silchar.
