I didn't apply for any other colleges I directly applied for ARSD College because the cut-off for SC in 2019 was 65% so I had sc quota and through which I got admission for bsc electronic in ARSD College on the basis of the sc quota cutoff list.
Course Curriculum Overview
My 12th background was related to science and i had interest in physics that's why I opted this course. The faculty strength is good it's upto a 60:40 ratio of student and teacher. All the professor are highly qualified and experienced they are pro in their field. The exam's are semester wise and they are quite tricky but easily you can qualified if you concentrate in the classroom.
Internships Opportunities
In campus event's many small organizations and start-up companies are come who provide paid and unpaid internships to the students with certificates and gifts. Companies like NGOs and fundraising companies visited the campus during events and selected the student on their abilities and they got the chance to work with them.
Placement Experience
Starting from the 5th semester the placement starts. In ARSD placement fair in which various companies come, and provide quite reasonable packages to the students. But the chances of placements in my department didn't have many opportunities very fewer numbers of students got the chances of placements. I was planning to go for my master's Msc. From better DU college.
Fees and Financial Aid
ARSD College fee's are affordable and durable. 1st year I guess I paid Rs.13500 and in 2nd year I paid Rs.13000 and in last year I paid Rs.14500/- ARSD provides academic prize scholarships to the students who attain 1st and 2nd position in their academic performance. The different scholarships provided at ARSD include Taneja Foundation Scholarship, Academic Prize, Sham Sunder Arora Memorial Prize, Jitender Arora Memorial Prize, Sanjeev Arora Memorial Prize, etc.
Campus Life
The annual fest was conducted in February months. In which lots of singers and YouTubers came and the crowd was amazing. Yes, we have a library there are a lot of books including our syllabus books and many other books. People also prepare for UPSC there. The classroom is fantastic students can sit comfortably and learn. There are many sports played in our college like basketball, football, cricket, kabaddi, volleyball and tennis. There are many societies run by students like Dance society, Music Society, Drama Society, Debate society.
