Remarks

Admission in B.tech program based on the entrance organized by the Institue itself. You have to score 90% to get a secure Admission. Counseling process was so smooth you don't need to worry about this

Course Curriculum Overview

The teachers are highly qualified and did their Ph.D from abroad. They taught us deeply in subjects and provide us an arranged study material. The Course is designed to get jobs mainly in Academic Institutions. The semester level is mediocre but compulsory to pass.

Internships Opportunities

The internship is generally provided in reputed Companies and firms with a monthly stipend of 45000. Some of the important projects were based on Artificial computing and the outcome was appreciable and published in an international journal.

Placement Experience

In seventh semester or last year students are eligible for sitting in campus placement .There is generally good placements in B.tech Course. Basically 8 90% of students gets placed at reputed Companies and firms. The highest package at my time was 15 lakh per annum and 3.4 lakh per annum was the least. TISS, Microsoft and Google is recuirting companies for us nowadays.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees are quite high, per semester fees is around 70000 RS. And fee hiked generally seen in every year by 20%. There are two scholarships provided by our own department and Many more by the Government of India itself.

Campus Life

Library is full of new edition books and current magazines. There is very good environment for Sports and extra curricular activities.. Students are highly promoted for such Activities. There are many Facebook pages with our Institue name for fresher's help.

Hostel Facilities

There is two types of Room one is AC other is Non AC. Every room has good hygiene. Mesh food quality and quantity is nice. Every student gets hostel by just filling a simple form and by paying fees. No

Placement Experience:

From 7th Sem, students are eligible for placements and undergo placement training. Many companies has visited so far but the big ones are Godrej, BEL, Framatome, etc. The highest package for mechanical was 7.5 LPA and the avg package was around 5 LPA with a majority of job roles as GET. Placement Experience:

If one wants direct placements in comapnies such as Wipro, Cognizant, Hexaware, TCS and many more, SIT is the place. Highest is still unbeatable as one student in 2023 got a paycheck of 50 lakhs per annum from SIT. Even the average is over 10 lakhs now as most students are placed through SIT placements cell.

Course curriculum is also good and it is explained in detail on the college's website and there are labs for the courses which made learning fast and easy. Relevance(industry alignment)->8/10 The curriculum is designed to keep up with the industry needs especially in fast growing fields like computer science, management, design and pharmacy. Updated course such as AI, machine learning, cybersecurity, data science and 3D printing are included for tech students. Industry exposure depends on the students initiative it's not equally strong in every department. Comprehensiveness-> 7.5/10 First year courses focus on building strong basics in science, mathematics and communication skills. Later semesters introduce specialisation, electives, research projectsand soft skill training. The curriculum also includes personality development, entrepreneurship and innovation modules. We can get addmission in GHRCE nagpur by after taking JEE AND MHTCET exam. The cuttoff of each branch is different for civil 75% is required. GHRCE nagpur have it's own site from where we can know about all the addmission procedure also the details of reservation is provided on site. I found the addmission process very easy and simple.
