Remarks

The Administration process was easy. There were clear instructions to the students before the college called us for Admission. I got into the college through KCET. I got the sear fairly easily and I opted for Civil Engineering as it was my desired field. The counselling process took place in a KCET centre. The process was a little confusing.

Course Curriculum Overview

The college mainly focuses on the Curriculum which will help the students in their professional ventures. As I mentioned before, I was interested in the field of Civil Engineering and RVCE being one of the most famous Colleges in Karnataka, I had to take up the population. The faculty to student ratio is 1:20.

Class Size: 120Course Fees: INR 86500 per year

Internships Opportunities

The college offers internships in association with companies like Boach. The downside of these internships is that they are online and almost Similar to normal classes. I had taken up one of the internships and done a project on Smart metering for houses.

Placement Experience

Placement happens at the end of the 6th semester. Students can apply from them at the same time. Many companies visit the college for placements with a hefty amount. I plan to continue studying for a Master's degree.

Fees and Financial Aid

CET fee structure is 53460 rs + 36000 tuition fee. Comedk and Management quota fees vary from time to time. The Scholarship department is very active in updating the students regarding Scholarship opportunities.

Campus Life

We are introduced to many clubs early through an orientation program. Students can join any club they find in their interest. There are many fests which include the 8th mile which is a joint effort from all the clubs. It takes place for 3 days usually. Apart from this different programs have different fests like Civil Engineering has Concrete fair

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would say academic wise. There is nothing much happening right now in first year, but then there are many events like hackathons happening where and we can participate and learn a lot even our first year and we have English film and Japanese film, which is basically a whole language club and there are a lot of activities happening such as debate and all, which is obviously helping us gain a lot of public speaking skills and confidence.

Admission happens through ComedK and kcet exams. I took admission through ComedK and my rank was 1873. My course cutoff was around 3000.
