Remarks

Firstly I took admission to kirorimal college. But in the second cut off, I got admission in Shri Ram College of Commerce which is considered as no.1 college of Commerce. So I got my admission canceled from kirorimal College and took admission in Shri Ram College of Commerce. DU admission criteria is very good and simple. You have to just upload the photos of your mark sheet and aadhar card. After that, you have to see in which college you can take admission which depends upon the marks. While taking admission in DU they consider only four subject marks so you have to evaluate your marks on the basis of four subjects. I got 98.6% marks in my 12th class but when I evaluate my marks on the basis of four subjects the marks were 98.75%. For taking admission in the second cut off of SRCC you need 98.5% marks and my marks were 98.75%. So I got admission in Shri Ram College of Commerce in second cut off. I took admission in 2020 till now I have not gone to my college because colleges are not opened yet .

The exam was on time. Because this is COVID time, therefore, the exam was in online mode only. it was not much difficult to pass the exams. The course curriculum is good. Faculties are also good but some of the faculties are not good. SRCC is the no.1 commerce college. Some of the faculties are not according to college standards. College is good in infrastructure.

Internships Opportunities

Various internships opportunities are available. Various companies come for internships which also includes Big 4 firms. You can get a stipend of 15k. You can get work related to human resources or Conte y writing. You can become an HR.

Placement Experience

SRCC is known for its campus placements. Various students got high packages after passing from this college. I will also try for campus placement. If I am not get selected I will continue my studies. I will do some other things. I can do post-graduation or I can join any course basis on the demand of time

Fees and Financial Aid

There is various types of scholarships available. But I have not got any scholarship yet from the college. various mail come from the college regarding internship opportunities but I did not get selected in any one of them. I also talked to my friends they also did not get selected.I do not know what is their criteria for selecting students for internships

Campus Life

There are various types of societies run by students for students. Some of them are Commerce Society, D street society and many more. Students learn a lot by selecting in these societies. For selecting in societies you have to give interviews if you pass the interviews then only you will be selected.

The curriculum is very interesting & it teaches you a lot about the entrepreneurship. Specially in the field of commerce it gives you the right information and exposure to the real world. Subjects like Corporate law , business law , Cost accounting and etc teaches you a lot about practicality.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would say that SEC and VAC, were added by the university to enhance students mind, but these subjects feel more like burden to the students. And also the theoretical and numerics being taught, are not relevant to todays world, as curiculum in the books is not upto date, The assignments pressure.. and sometimes the fear of getting low marks.

MLNCE - Average but Enjoyable

Placement Experience:

The placement in Motilal Nehru College (Evening) is decent and is led mainly by the Placement Cell. Though inactive earlier, the placement cell has become significantly more active recently, bringing in more internship and job opportunities. Students become eligible for placements during 3rd year. In a good placement season, companies like Deloitte, KPMG, PwC, EY come for Audit, Taxation, Risk Advisory, HR jobs. Other companies like DE Shaw & Co, Accenture, Capital IQ also come during job fairs. Earlier, Wipro, TCS, Amazon, Flipkart have also recruited from the college mainly for Sales, Business Development, Operations jobs. Highest on-campus package is ?18.7 LPA and rhe average package is ?3.6-4.5 LPA. Approximately 40% to 50% of students who participate in the process secure placements. My plan is to get into freelancing after college.

Course Curriculum Overview:

In regard to the relevancy of the course Im quite fond of the subjects such as BL CA AND HRM they give us the better insights for both practical and theoritical knowledge making us ready for the "real" world . As For the improvement i feel like there should be some flexibility in GE so that students can choose a sub as per their choice as Hindi is fixed for me which isnt quite suitable for my course and it just drags my CGP down. The frequency if the exam is okay but the timing I feel like its way too fast just after first sem exam we had classes and all test and felt like it went on a spur

An Unfiltered View of SRCC

Placement Experience:

Placement in SRCC is very amazing, and way beyond the placements of DU colleges. A lot of big big names in Finance, and consulting domain, recruit from campus including McKinsey & Co., Bain & Company, Kearney, Big 4s and all. Highest package is 35+ LPA and Average Package is 10 LPA. I HAVE PLANNED TO complete my ACCA along with a little work experience.

All about SRCC life, exposure, placements, faculty and my experience

Placement Experience:

For placements fifth semester student are eligible for placements. Since it is best commerce college. Companies like big 4, google, bank of America, Goldman Sachs, bcg, bain and co., Sbi, paytm, meesho and many more comes. The highest package was 36 LPA this year from meesho for senior analyst roles. Average package is 10 LPA. Most of the placements take place in consulting, marketing, auditing, finance and analyst roles. Around more than 50% of the students get placed. My plan is to take placements in consulting and finance roles after the degree from the college.

My view regarding my college

Remarks:

Academically you can choose it but if you are looking for some fancy institution with some best infrastructure and fancy canteen I won't suggest you this college. But this college has one of the very best cricket team and one of our student named Mayank dagar is leading Indian National under-19 team. So I think you understand the impact.

I choose this college because it is india best commerce college. It was my first preference and I got it. To take admission in this college you have to give cuet just after your 12th exams. You have to be pass in class 12th exams then you can give cuet. You can only give exams of subjects which you had in your class 12th. After giving exams , some universities release their admission form. You have to fill that form if you want to take admission. SRCC- Asia's Best college experience

So basically i had applied to almost all other colleges in DU, for example Hindu, Miranda, LSR etc. Even non DU colleges, for example St. Xaviers. I got in all of them. However SRCC being my first preferance finally became my destination. I chose it mainly because of the Brand value it has. Same reason that people choose IITs. I didnt really get a rejection from anywhere. Just IIM under IPMAT, and that was because i didnt study too well for the entrance. For the admission in this college, u need to clear an examination called CUET. Thats the only exam. Cut off for B.Com hon goes the highest in SRCC itself, being the most demanded college.
