Remarks

I did my graduation from NIT Kurukshetra and wanted to go one step higher by doing MBA from an IIT for which IIT Delhi was the ideal name. IIT Delhi is accredited with the prestigious status of National Importance Institute and along with that it was among top 10 MBA institutes in 2020 rankings of NIRF. The institute offers various UG & PG Engineering courses and they are the flagship programmes here, but I did my MBA here for which admissions were done as per the overall performance I did in the entrance, group exercise and personal interview.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

Completing of my BTech took me at the position to go for higher studies or opt for a job and I decided to pursue the first one. That's why I applied for MBA at IIT Delhi and due to good performance througout the selection process I achieved it. The whole 2 year stint I had with IIT Delhi was great for my growth in management field and It also helped me to learn about the tackling of the real time pressure one faces in the corporate sector. The course structure at IIT Delhi has been designed brilliantly because It takes utmost care of students overall development.

Internships Opportunities

4.5

I tried to give my best throughout the internship stint and in output I was able to achieve some great heights in my growth. The staff there was also happy with me and my work and that's what matters the most. My confidence also got a great boost through it as I got a great industrial work experience.

Placement Experience

5

Situated in the capital Delhi, our Institute is one of the first preferences for some of the top management companies and hands we had participation of Microsoft, HCL, Amazon, Tata consultancy, Reliance Group and Accenture during placement drive of our 2020 batch. With an average salary of INR 15 lacs the most number of offers were made under consulting & sales domains. I was very happy with the INR 20 lpa package I received while the highest package of the drive was INR 36 Lacs.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Some B-schools charge higher than IIT Delhi while some cheap MBA institutes ate also available within Delhi. But I think doing any programme from an institution like IIT Delhi makes a great difference and it was valid enough to pay INR 9.6 Lacs for my MBA programme here. The fee structure was affordable for me , but the institute had several helping services for the needful students so that their financial pressure can be Cut off.

Campus Life

5

The campus life goes as per the latest changes made in the Industry needs and related fields which makes it worth exploring for students of each branch. I personally enjoyed being there in the fests, Alumni interaction or technical activities too because they used to help me in learning about different fields and things. But one must keep in mind the main objective is to grow in academics. IIT Delhi is spreaded in 300+ acres which includes, a grand library, Computer lab facility, playground, auditorium, Canteens and seminar halls etc.

Hostel Facilities

4.5

IIT Delhi has been established as one of the largest IITs in the country and it has a total of 10 hostels, including girls & boys hostels which are obviously separated. For all management and Engineering courses hostels were available and the annual fee of hostel was INR 65,000. Our mess was the point of discussions for most of us as we even used to discuss our doubts there during our meals. The facilities in the hostels were overall great looking at the fee structure it charged.

Admission

The selection process for MBA admissions at IIT Delhi is just the same which is followed throughout the country for such Courses, including checking of students performances in Graduation and other previous standards, their score in the respective entrance exam they opted in. If they are eligible, then only then will be called for the PI and Group rounds, which is the last step for MBA Selections.

The curriculum is not good. Delhi University should focus much better on the curriculum.. There's no need of subject like evs, swach bharat, and all for a college student... The timetable is manageable..

In IGNOU, you can study from anywhere because the courses are offered in distance and online mode. You don’t have to attend regular college; you can study at home using the books, PDFs, and online lectures. IGNOU also provides online teachers through live classes, recorded videos, and doubt-clearing sessions on their online platforms. This makes it easy for students to learn even if they are working or living in another city.

I was preparing for CA also that's why I opted for Bcom, rest no other factors. But the curriculum of the college was best. They covered our whole syllabus on time. Everything was just perfect. There's semester system at my time. Every year we have 2 semester exams and you can clear the exam if you have studied everything your teacher taught. Examination level was moderate only.
