I took NEET-UG & AIIMS-PMT exams and got AIR 705 and 316 respectively in both. My Delhi university rank was 148.

Course Curriculum Overview

5

The MBBS curriculum consists of a 4.5 year academic session+ 1 year of compulsory internship. In these 4.5 years, the student is briefed on various preclinical, clinical and para-clinical subjects. After successfully completing this whole 5.5 year course, one finally attains the honour to be called as a ' doctor'.

Internships Opportunities

Yes UCMS offers a whole 1 year term of internship. During this time, one gets a good exposure to the hospitals and the day to day requirements of the patients that the doctor needs to fulfill.

Placement Experience

5

MBBS students are not offered any package in general except those who want to opt for research in future. As soon as one completes his/her MBBS, they have to appear for the NEET-PG exam. It's only after completing the post graduation, that a doctor's abilities to practice are recognised. Hence all the good packages are offered after that.

College Events

5

UCMS is a very happening college. Every year, the college hosts 2 fest's : avalanche and ripple. Both contain an array of events starting from quizzing, choirs, dances, choreography, sports, debating etc. They begin with the inauguration ceremony and end with a star night which is truly a piece of joy for the MBBS students.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure is extremely feasible. It's just rs 7000 per Annum which is a very low amount. Even the MBBS books are costlier than the fees. The college canteen is very cheap.

Fees and Financial Aid

UCMS offers a lot many scholarships on merit cum means basis. Many NGOs like the saraswati NGO give monthly scholarships to help students pursue MBBS without stressing about the monetary issues.

Campus Life

5

The UCMS campus is one of the largest college campuses in India. The campus life at UCMS is also very happening. The gender ratio is 2:1 here. UCMS is also a hub of extra curricular activities. These include dance, music , debating, choreography, quizzing etc.

Exam Structure

Definitely MBBS is one of the most lengthy and complicated undergraduate courses, as it requires one to excel in the understanding as well as application of the clinical concepts. The exams in UCMS are very frequently held. We have 2 hours of lab during the weekdays . Thus the day becomes really hectic.

Admission

The process began once the NEET results were announced. After that we procured forms from the Delhi university office and filled them there itself. After that, we were called for the first counselling round rank wise where I was asked to choose between UCMS and LHMC.

Faculty

5

All the faculty members of UCMS hold excellence in their respective fields. All of them are post graduated diplomats having various laurels in their name. They are very kind, and are always keen to help. Before starting with any new topic, they first brief us about its clinical implications so that we can realise it's importance while practice.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is very well structured and includes detailed study of all the aspects of medicine which is very relevant in today's world. Since mbbs curriculum is more about practical and less about theory we get a really good patient exposure which makes us ready to deal with patient problems in real life. The course curriculum can be made a little less hectic as in fourth year there are 11 subjects to cover so they can be distributed equally in all the other years and teaching methods can be made more interactive instead of professors just reading the slides monotonously

Course Curriculum Overview:

Curriculum of mbbs is very comprehensive and makes you capable of handling medical emergencies, and not miss out on diagnosing critical cases. With the new CBME curriculum by nmc in place, additional focus is also given on the AETCOM (attitude, ethics and communication) module which is aimed at improving the quality of healthcare professionals produced by this country.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is decided by the NMC therefore it is same for all of the doctors. Our college has a good clinical exposure and thus we learn a lot. The course prepares you well, but you always have to learn by yourself. In the area of clinical expertise the treatment of common disease must be taught separately. We have exams Nearly every 3 months, which can be tough to manage, considering that you have to score an average of more than 50% in them . Difficulty level is intermediate

Course Curriculum Overview:

1. Bcoz in mbbs in addition to money there is also a lot of respect, plus it is easy to explain what are u doing ? 2. There are a total of 100 students in our batch and there are at least 2-3 assistant professors, 1 head of department, and at least 4-5 postgraduate and senior residents 3. Assistant professor and Head of the department has already completed there pg's and has experience of 5-10 year of teaching, Senior resident had also completed their pg but the difference between sr's, AP, and HoD is that sr's have lack of experience 4. There is an exam after completion of a particular unit and this is easy then comes the term exam which occurs after 2-3 months it comes under the category of moderate then there is pre-proof before the proof this is quite hard even for some say it's harder than proof, then finally comes off the last exam of that particular year after proof another year start bcoz results of proof usually take 2,3,4 weeks at least
