IIIT provides interdisciplinary courses for design which helps beginner to choose their field of interest and pursue it accordingly. College provides better opportunity for those who are interested in UX/UI so its better for those who want to purse their career in UX/UI

Course Curriculum Overview

the course is designed in a very decent way along with that the faculty is quite experienced and qualified enough to give better insights to students and can better guide them. for online setup they conducted exams every month so that students wont lose the track and keep up with the syllabus. the faculty is quite cooperative here and exams are also enough tricky to improve your thinking ability and increase your horizon in field of designing

Placement Experience

from final year students are eligible for campus placement. companies like yuj designs, Samsung, Microsoft, cognizant, etc visit for campus placement for designs and for engineering department the options are way more than that like TCS, infosys, cognizant, etc. the maximum packages goes like 12 to 15lac and sometimes exceeds 20 above as well. the percentage of student getting placed is roughly 50 -60 %

Fee Structure And Facilities

fee structure does compensate the quality of education provided by the college. the labs are developed and availability of study material is there. for masters the scholarship has been provided under the norms of UGC. for job opportunities the campus provide decent placement opportunities and if someone wants to continue with research the campus also appreciate such students and give recommendation for PhD admission as well

Campus Life

due to covid that part is not still not explored but according to our seniors and PhD students, campus life is quite decent and you have lot of liberty to explore your interests here. gym is available. other sports are also available in campus( cricket, football ,badminton, etc)different clubs are also there like samvaad( literary and quizzing society), abhivyakti(art club), shutterbox( photography club) , NSS, etc

Yes. For admission you need to have good score. On score basis you get short listed when the forms are available and later on the written exam is held in campus along with the interview. we are supposed to showcase our work in form of portfolio

Life at best iiit

Placement Experience:

Plcaments are the best compared to top tier 2 college average this year is 22 lpa and the highest is 84 and the lowest is 8.5lpa and median is 14 which i think is not good as compared to other year i know it will improve but many companies are still visiting till now 84 percent have been placed

Life as a Student of IIITDM Jabalpur

I wanted a National college which should be government, according to my rank in JEE Mains I was getting other Nits and iiits and also some state government colleges but i preferred this because it is in my home city jabalpur No i didn't got any rejections i applied to because this college was my fiest priority and according to my interest. According to your JEE mains rank when you are selected in this college by Jossa/Csab counselling Online physical reporting is done first then within 10-15 days you have to physically report to the college, after it you are alloted your respective hostel to live and from next week classes get started My overall admission experience was really very good, it was my dream college You have to achieve rank under 1.5 lakhs to get admission here if you are from obc category For general category you have to achieve rank under 70000 to come here For sc/st candidates you have to achieve rank under 2 lakhs to come to this college as per previous year cutoff...Read More
