Insights of Atal Bihari Vajpayee Indian Institute of Management

The major aspect which made me take the admission was the semester system as trimester was very tough for me. ABV IIITM is a university with national importance so studying here is a benefit for any student. Each semester is of 6 months and each semester includes 2 exams minor and major which are held at the gap of 2 months. Improvement can be done by marketing of the MBA course as college is known for B. tech degree

There were few companies which visited college for internship. These were Volume9, AIM India, Alvarez and Marshal, Nagarro, Swiggy etc. The roles which were offered were of general manager, marketing manager, sales manager and Finance executive.

The campus placements are good in college. Some of the companies which visited for MBA was Naggaro, Swiggy, Turing and Plus 91 labs. For B. Tech the companies visit are Google, Apple, Microsoft, Barclays, Deloitte etc.

The yearly fees of MBA at ABV IIITM is 230000. There is scholarship for the reserved category students. The total fees has increased to 600000 this year. It is increasing approximately by 1,50000 every year. The fees per semester from 2024 was 1,15,000. The tuition fees is around 80000 which keeps on changing. Examination fees is 1500. Library fees is 2000. Registration fees is 1000. Medical facilities is 1500. Cultural activities fees is 1000.

The overall experience was amazing as the events are held every time. The famous personality visit college like Ministers, President, Singers etc. Sports functions like Urja is held, DJ night is held in Aurora.

I chose this college because of the reputation of the college in India and the ranking. I applied for different colleges like SIDTM but I couldn't crack the interview. The admission process at ABV IIITM was giving CAT with a reputed score. Then the GD, WAT and PI is held. After that the selected students are given the admission.

Management department of ABV IIITM consists of 11 faculties. Students can reach out to the faculties cabin for any discussion. The faculty names which helped me a lot were Prof. Naval Bajpayi faculty of Marketing, Prof. Amandeep Kaur faculty of AI There are 2 exams held each semester they are minors and majors. Minors are of 30-40 marks depending upon the faculty. The rest 20- 30 marks are for the presentation or the assignments. Majors are of 50 marks in each subject and these are the final exams of the semester.

Yes, there was GD, WAT and Personal Interview held after clearing the CAT exam. GD, PI and WAT was held at the same day of documents verification. All the rounds were easy to crack. General Knowledge about the current affairs is enough to crack

The nighlife of the campus is good. The sports complex is open students can go and play many sports. Night canteens are available. Nescafe is open in the campus where students can go and have their favorite snacks. Hostel entries closes on 10 pm.
