Course Curriculum Overview

The major aspect which made me take the admission was the semester system as trimester was very tough for me. ABV IIITM is a university with national importance so studying here is a benefit for any student. Each semester is of 6 months and each semester includes 2 exams minor and major which are held at the gap of 2 months. Improvement can be done by marketing of the MBA course as college is known for B. tech degree

Internships Opportunities

There were few companies which visited college for internship. These were Volume9, AIM India, Alvarez and Marshal, Nagarro, Swiggy etc. The roles which were offered were of general manager, marketing manager, sales manager and Finance executive.

Placement Experience

The campus placements are good in college. Some of the companies which visited for MBA was Naggaro, Swiggy, Turing and Plus 91 labs. For B. Tech the companies visit are Google, Apple, Microsoft, Barclays, Deloitte etc.

Fees and Financial Aid

The yearly fees of MBA at ABV IIITM is 230000. There is scholarship for the reserved category students. The total fees has increased to 600000 this year. It is increasing approximately by 1,50000 every year. The fees per semester from 2024 was 1,15,000. The tuition fees is around 80000 which keeps on changing. Examination fees is 1500. Library fees is 2000. Registration fees is 1000. Medical facilities is 1500. Cultural activities fees is 1000.

Campus Life

The overall experience was amazing as the events are held every time. The famous personality visit college like Ministers, President, Singers etc. Sports functions like Urja is held, DJ night is held in Aurora.

Admission

I chose this college because of the reputation of the college in India and the ranking. I applied for different colleges like SIDTM but I couldn't crack the interview. The admission process at ABV IIITM was giving CAT with a reputed score. Then the GD, WAT and PI is held. After that the selected students are given the admission.

Faculty

Management department of ABV IIITM consists of 11 faculties. Students can reach out to the faculties cabin for any discussion. The faculty names which helped me a lot were Prof. Naval Bajpayi faculty of Marketing, Prof. Amandeep Kaur faculty of AI There are 2 exams held each semester they are minors and majors. Minors are of 30-40 marks depending upon the faculty. The rest 20- 30 marks are for the presentation or the assignments. Majors are of 50 marks in each subject and these are the final exams of the semester.

Interview Experience

Yes, there was GD, WAT and Personal Interview held after clearing the CAT exam. GD, PI and WAT was held at the same day of documents verification. All the rounds were easy to crack. General Knowledge about the current affairs is enough to crack

Night Life

The nighlife of the campus is good. The sports complex is open students can go and play many sports. Night canteens are available. Nescafe is open in the campus where students can go and have their favorite snacks. Hostel entries closes on 10 pm.

IIM Indore Review

Remarks:

After cleared the CAT exam, I got a call from IIM Lucknow, IIM Kozhikode, and IIM Indore for the interview. I choose IIM Indore as it is one of the oldest colleges and its campus infrastructure drew my attention especially Planet I (a campus environment structure).

The honest overall of the Institute

Placement Experience:

The students are eligible by 4th year for campus placement. The highest package for MBA Integrated is 8 lacs per annum and the average package is 3.5 lacs. A lot of famed companies like byju's, ICICI bank come for the campus recruitment. The number of the campus drive held varies every year as the college invites company till all the applicants get selected and even after that for better package offers. The institute has 100% placement for MBA and MBA Integrated program.

Insider Placements of IIITM Gwalior

my rank in jee mains was 18600 in which i didnt get any good branch (cs it) in good nit or iiit in JOSAA. Then in CSAB 1st round i got iiit jabalpur ece and in 2nd round i got iiitm gwalior it+mba). 1. I had applied to XIME Bangalore, Welingkar, and Christ College. I got selected for XIME Bangalore. 2. I choose IIITM Gwalior because it is a central government institute, proximity to my hometown and affordable program fee. 3. I got rejected from Welingkar and Christ due to low CAT score. 4. The admission process for MBA is quite straight forward. IIITM only accepts CAT score. There is no explicit mention of minimum CAT percentile. In under graduation one should have at least 60% with maths/statistics as one of the subjects. After that there will be group discuss round and interview round. COMPETITION IS HERE, ABV-IIITM

I choose this college since I'm aiming to grow in the Engineering and technological field. Jee is most challenging exams of India and passing this would give me the opportunity to go for a government funded college, which would help me financially. The quality of the education would definitely not compromise because of the academic environment in this college. The curriculum here is designed challenging and also ensures that students know what the industry is and how it works. Professors here are qualified and are graduated from most prestigious colleges of India. The reputation of being in iiit gwalior is great than most of the other nits and private colleges, the brand builts strong reputation. The affordability is also a factor for which I choose this college for. I haven't made it to other nits because I my jee score was not upto the mark.
