Remarks

As Pune is home to various multinational companies there are very good chances of getting placement. Also the location of college is quite pleasant as it's temporary campus is surrounded by Greenery. Also it's mentor institute is coep.

Course Curriculum Overview

All are good. As there is a good demand of software engineer so cse is a good option. Also if someone wants toh apply for both private as well as government sector can choose ece branch as well. The faculties are good.

Placement Experience

The placement is quite good. Almost all good companies visit here. Also some small companies, start-ups and other companies for mass recruitment also visit the college. The opportunity provided by the college for placement is great and its upto you and your preperation.

Mostly every type of state and central scholarship scheme are available with the college. The college is affiliated to various scholarship portals. Eg Nsp, maharastra scholarship,up scholarship, rajasthan scholarship etc.

The campus is temporary now but it is expected that it will complete in 2-3 years. College have good labs. The hostel don't have internet connection you have to use your own data. There are various clubs such as coding, dance,drama, quizzing etc.

No. We only have to clear the jee mains exam and our rank should be in between the cut off rank provided by the college. Also one must also fulfill all the criteria for eligibility of jee mains examination.

Placement Experience:

From 7th Sem, students are eligible for placements and undergo placement training. Many companies has visited so far but the big ones are Godrej, BEL, Framatome, etc. The highest package for mechanical was 7.5 LPA and the avg package was around 5 LPA with a majority of job roles as GET. Almost 95% students are placed. I'm preparing for GATE ME for higher studies

SIT is best engineering college of Pune!!

Placement Experience:

If one wants direct placements in comapnies such as Wipro, Cognizant, Hexaware, TCS and many more, SIT is the place. Highest is still unbeatable as one student in 2023 got a paycheck of 50 lakhs per annum from SIT. Even the average is over 10 lakhs now as most students are placed through SIT placements cell.

Course curriculum is also good and it is explained in detail on the college's website and there are labs for the courses which made learning fast and easy. Relevance(industry alignment)->8/10 The curriculum is designed to keep up with the industry needs especially in fast growing fields like computer science, management, design and pharmacy. Updated course such as AI, machine learning, cybersecurity, data science and 3D printing are included for tech students. Industry exposure depends on the students initiative it's not equally strong in every department. Comprehensiveness-> 7.5/10 First year courses focus on building strong basics in science, mathematics and communication skills. Later semesters introduce specialisation, electives, research projectsand soft skill training. The curriculum also includes personality development, entrepreneurship and innovation modules. A few departments could integrate new technologies fatser into the syllabus. This College was on my top priority as It is in the city Pune . The Emerging IT city in India . As the Name is IIIT it also attracts me . At the time of Counselling i have filled Branches in ECE of NIT and CS of IIIT . Initially i was alloted IIIT Bhopal but inn the 5th round IIIT Pune was alloted . My Parent was happy as Pune is Nice city. My College Infrastructure is Good but not as expected. If we compare my College to Private than it is far Good and all the facilites are nice. Yeah we can say that we are new but we can say that we are not less than New NIts. For Entrance in IIIT Pune You need to qualify the JEE Main Exam with Good Percentile. My experience of iiit pune

I also applied to cse at IIIT jabalpur and allahbad, and chemical engineering at nit Warangal but I couldn't get a seat there. I was also getting ece in iiit jabalpur and cse in spit mumbai but I decided to take iiit pune cse over it.
