Remarks

One of the Tier one college in Maharashtra With a brand name as VJTI. Average infrastructure. Admission is done through Maharashtra state CET with cuttoff being 160 + for open category candidates cuttoffs are different for different branches. Hostel are not that good but in such a less fees it can be adjusted.

Course Curriculum Overview

I was interested in Textile engineering and faculty was good. Most of faculty were from IIT, ICT. Overall I had good experience. Exam pattern and difficulty level was quite better compared to other colleges but was easy to get enough passing marks.

Class Size: 70Course Fees: INR 69000 per year

Placement Experience

From VII semester students become eligible for campus placements. companies visited Axella, Kotak securities, IQVIA, Fractal analytics, Raymond, Reliance industries, RTUL etc. Highest package offered was 20lpa bu rakuten and average package is around 6 lpa . 98 percent of students placed. I am planning to apply for CAT 2021.

Fee Structure And Facilities

As it is the government college the fees were very less compared to other colleges and reserved category candidates can avail scholarships.I got the job as junior underwriter at situsAmc. Many companies visited during covid pandemic also so if you study at VJTI you don't have to worry about placements.

Campus Life

Annual fest which I participated were pratibimb, vastra, enthusia, Technovanza and They were mostly conducted at the end of the year. Books availablity were sufficient enough. Various sports activities were conducted like football, basketball, Cricket matches etc.

Remarks:

It ranks no 2 in india in dental field and I was not able to acquire a medical seat due to less marks in the entrance exam which i appeared ie NEET, the cut off was 560marks for medical seat i got 530 marks so i was able to choose this field and it is a good college.

Great and only life

Admission:

I got admission on the basis of the Meri list. Students don't need to give exams for the admission. College allow for the admission to to those students who get good score in graduation. And after that college faculties take interview of the students.

I applied for VJTI, and other college of pune PCCOE. I got VJTI as I referred it as my 1st college in the list. So I got my 1st choice. I have heard the name of VJTI College in top 10 colleges in maharashtra. It is established in 1887. The Alumini of this college are at top positions in their field. VJTI provides good placement opportunities. The admission for M.Tech is through CAP rounds which considers GATE score. For getting admission the score should be valid. There is no duch cutoffs. Review from a Second Year student in VJTI !

The college is very transparent regarding its placement percentage, internship opportunities and so on. Other colleges try not to release official data. Many colleges publish placement brochures, not reports, it is easy to lie on them. VJTI provides accurate placement reports. The alumni network is really strong, they have thousands of past graduates. The admission process is mainly through MHTCET. The overall admission procedure is fairly smooth. The cutoffs are really high. They are also increasing year be year as standards rise. To do engineering in Maharashtra, MH-CET is compulsory and every student here has come that way. Rank of 3000-4500 is enough for general category students to secure admission in VJTI's E&TC branch.
