An excellent college and obtained a lot of memories

I have applied for so many colleges but I gave only 3 to 4 interviews because of the fee issues. The first college I attended GD/PI was Xidas but I have not joined because of college fees. It was around 200000 per sem excluding mess and hostel. Then I gave an interview in Nit Durgapur and got selected but did not choose because of the language barrier, infrastructure and did not issue any hostel and not provided any good placement. Then I filled Nit Kurukshetra online form and decided to go for a GD/PI because its rating is good and the Semester and hostel fee was less than any other reputed college. I am a general class student and do not avail any quota. In Nit Kurukshetra, they only selected students based on their CAT scores. At that time minimum cut was 50 % for the General category. In Nit firstly they display a Merit list and on the basis of the Merit list, they called for GD and combined interview of 10 students. The whole process was completed at approx 5 pm.

I had to choose MBA so that I get a decent job and gaining good knowledge about good market exposure. The faculty-student ratio is approx 1:10 and the professor is highly qualified and some of them are Ph.D. and some of completed MBA and pursue Ph.D. Nit conducted midterm and semester exams 2 times in a year and some subject of semester exam was tough and difficult to pass.

Nit there are various companies that provide internship opportunities like in GAIL, HSBC, AXIS BANK, BHEL, and many other companies provided internships along with stipends. Titles are the internship are Financial performance of Gail. Forex and Risk Management for Axis bank. Study of Credit Risk Rating for large Corporates for OBC bank. CAPEX for JCB. Welfare scheme of ONGC for ONGC. A study on mutual funds for CANARA ROBECO. Mutual Fund for Religare. Working Capital Management for BHEL. In NIT many internships opportunity are available.

Nit Kurukshetra offered good placement for BTech and Mtech students but it was not very good for MBA students. In BTech 7th sem students are eligible for campus placements and in MBA and Mtech after 2nd sem students are eligible for campus interview. Many companies are visited in NIT like Amul, Copal Partners, Google, HSBC BANKT, Axis bank, IDBI Bank, India Mart, XL Dynamics, Onicira, Tech Mahindra, and many other companies visited the campus. The highest package is 60 LPA and the average package is 5 LPA. On average 68% of students placed every year from NIT Kurukshetra. After getting a degree I was searching for a marketing job and join a company for 6 months and after that, I am getting a good job related to the stock market where my work is to transfer shares from one account to another with help of documents and perform many other transactions as well. I am also conducted training and session to increase process overall quality.

In Nit Kurukshetra per semester, fees were approx. 50 thousand and hostel fee was 6 thousand per semester and college did not provide any scholarship for MBA students and I am getting an internship from college at Mango company Noida and they provided only 6 k per month.

Every year Nit conducted many fests like confluence, Techspardha, and many other cultural fests. In the library, there are approx. 4200 plus online journals in the field of science and technology and management field. In the library, there are many sections for books and magazines. In Nit's, there was a flexible sitting and technology area and also there is an open-air theatre, cricket, and tennis playgrounds. There are many clubs and societies in NIT Kurukshetra. Some of them are a student activity center-Cultural club, LSD-Dance group, SUC-Dance group, Music and Dramatics club-Cultural club, Trekking club, and many other clubs and societies were there.

Students of the hostel are provided with the facilities of the deep freezer, water coolers, and a good mess and also provided a common area where we can watch TV or read the newspaper. All the rooms in the hostel have been provided with furniture, a ceiling fan, and a Lan cable connection with good speed. Sometimes mess food was good but some times not. The food menu was good and change every day. The registration process is simple for getting a hostel and it was decided before admission. Hostel fee was very low and took around 6 thousand per semester. There are some hostels and pg near to hostel but I think no student wants to take pg or hostels because the Nit hostel fee was low with good security.

Yes, I am facing a GD and PI for the admission process. I have totally forgotten the GD topic. I am prepared for GD and PI with help of MBA coaching where they conduct mock interviews and I am also self practicing for these rounds.
