Remarks
The cutoff for JD Birla is 70%. The admission process is easy. The candidate needs to apply through the college website or by taking the hard copy of the application form from the college. Then the merit list is published and the selected candidates have to go to the college to submit all the necessary documents.
Course Curriculum Overview
I chose this course as I am very much interested in finance. There are enough faculty in the college to fill all the classes. The professors are highly qualified and know their subjects well. Students are provided with lectures and notes. There is an end semester exam and before that two exams are conducted by the college
Internships Opportunities
The college has tied up with internships which provides the students in the third year with many internship opportunities. Students also get an offer in the courses offered by Internshala. This is a good opportunity for the students to enhance their cv
Placement Experience
Top companies like Wipro, EY, amazon etc come to recruit students from the college. The average package is 4 lakh /annum. All the third year students are eligible to apply to the placement cell. 60% of the students get placed.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee of the college is slightly more than other colleges in Kolkata. The admission fee is 90000 and then per semester will cost 40000. The hike is less. Students however get placements to compensate the fees.
Campus Life
We have an annual cultural fest called verve and a business fest called a commercial conclave. Many colleges participate in the same. There are many classrooms on the campus and each of them has an air conditioner. The library is huge and contains all the study material. Sports day happens once a year.
