Remarks

# The other universities that I have applied for were - 1) Delhi University 2) Guru Govind Singh Indraprastha University . The reason that I had not attend these institutes is the quality of job and placement . # The admission criteria for National Fire Service College is – 1) You should have got minimum of 55% in your 12th standard . 2) You should have secured a good rank in JEE Mains . 2) You should be physically fit . # The admission process starts with a online application form . After applying and being in a list of selected candidates you have to go for submission of required certificates , after this a list of top scoring candidates will be selected for next round of screening which is a physical fitness test which indude ( height , weight , chest , eyes ) and few other things . And finally a list of selected candidates will be issued by the college .

Course Curriculum Overview

5

# The reason why I choose this course is mainly due to the quality of job and a handsome amount of salary you will be getting , also the training that you go through these 4 years will definitely change you into a confident and a disciplined person. # There are different faculties for different areas ie ( fire training , academic , practical ) # These teachers are highly qualified and appointed by UPSC . They had a great experience in their field . The teaching method is that , firstly you will get detailed knowledge through academic and practical after that you will be trained under harsh conditions in fire grounds . # In every semester there is 2 terminal exams and practicals , after that you had university exams in the last . These exams are very difficult and It requires detailed knowledge to get passed .

Placement Experience

5

# From 6th semester students are eligible for campus placement . # Both government and private companies comes for offering job such as ONGC , GAIL ,SAIL , Bharat petroleum and others . # Highest package ever had was of 30lakhs per year by ONGC , and the average package of 12 lakhs . # Around 70% of the students are placed . # My plans are definitely to get selected in campus placement and if not then it will be not difficult for me to find a job with such a great and recognised degree .

Fees and Financial Aid

# The fees of this college is pretty low around (50,000 per year including hostel , mess and college fee ) as it is a government college which cones under Ministry of Home Affairs . # The job you get from campus is of a Fire Safety Officer in different PSU's and MNC's

Campus Life

5

# The annual fest covers different cultures activities . They are so good and enjoyable that I can't explain it though words ????. It is conducted every month in the year of September . # For the availability of books we have a huge library containing thousands of books . # Yes , there is definitely a sports club in which students can participate and can go to college level competitions . There are many different co- curricular activities that includes NCC and others . # One of the important club run by students is ROTORACT club which is a social service club .

Hostel Facilities

5

# In a single room there are 2 beds for 2 students . There are 2 cupboards and a balcony . # There is a 4 time meal in the college mess including breakfast , lunch , evening snack and dinner . The quality is really good . # There is no particular registration process as when you got selected you are allotted a room . # You can't rent a room because according to college guidelines every student have to stay in college hostel .

If one wants direct placements in comapnies such as Wipro, Cognizant, Hexaware, TCS and many more, SIT is the place. Highest is still unbeatable as one student in 2023 got a paycheck of 50 lakhs per annum from SIT. Even the average is over 10 lakhs now as most students are placed through SIT placements cell.

Reviewed on Sep 17, 2025(Enrolled 2025)

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculum is also good and it is explained in detail on the college's website and there are labs for the courses which made learning fast and easy. Relevance(industry alignment)->8/10 The curriculum is designed to keep up with the industry needs especially in fast growing fields like computer science, management, design and pharmacy. Updated course such as AI, machine learning, cybersecurity, data science and 3D printing are included for tech students. Industry exposure depends on the students initiative it's not equally strong in every department. Comprehensiveness-> 7.5/10 First year courses focus on building strong basics in science, mathematics and communication skills. Later semesters introduce specialisation, electives, research projectsand soft skill training. The curriculum also includes personality development, entrepreneurship and innovation modules. A few departments could integrate new technologies fatser into the syllabus. Practical v/s theoretical balance: Labs, workshops and real world projects are a core part of the structure, especially in engineering, design, and science programs. CIA like case studies, presentations, and assignments encourage hands on learning. However, in some programs, there is a still heavier focus on the theory, so students must actively seek extra learning resources
