Course Curriculum Overview

We follow a trimester system. So, the entire two years will have six semesters. In the first year, we have to take some of the elective subjects and in the second year, we can choose based on our interests. Most faculties from our colleges are from top institutes. They have done Ph.D. degree and recently one of our professors was awarded as best professors among IIMs. I guess they are best among all the IIMs.

Class Size: 332Course Fees: INR 1600000 per year

Placement Experience

Final PlacementWe are having an average of around 14-15 lakhs for final placement and last year also we have the highest package of 45 lakhs.Summer PlacementIt was good. We had 100% summer placement. The topmost stipend was 3.38 lakhs. Even in the current situation, our college has strived a lot and we have achieved 100% summer placement this year. We have been offered roles like Product Management, Finance Analyst, and other domains like supply chain, and HR. There is a diversity of roles.

Fee Structure And Facilities

We have to pay term-wise fees. Each term has a fee of around 2.5 lakhs. The total fee is around 16 lakhs. There are scholarships offered by the college like merit-cum scholarships as well. Many people have got scholarships from our colleges and completed their courses. Apart from that, we have a mess fee. So, in total it will be around 18 lakhs. It will not go beyond that!

Campus Life

This is the first IIM that is shifted to a new campus. We have our campus and it is full of greenery. Apart from that, we have a good library and we also have 33 clubs and committees in our college. They always keep us engaging in our campus. We are having 200 acres of campus. We are enjoying campus life more.

Hostel Facilities

We are having 350 students this year so there would be double occupancy room for the first year. The hostel facility is nice and the rooms have enough space. We have a 24x7 hot water facility and they are providing us good mess food. They are serving us food 4 times a day. The monthly expenses of the mess cost around INR 5,000-6,000.

Admission

A topic is given on which a paragraph of around 300 words has to be submitted. My PI was mostly on work experience. It was good. For WAT and PI, I have seen some YouTube videos. I didn't take any coaching for the same.

A well rounded experience at GEHU dehradun .

Placement Experience:

At GEHU, placement eligibility starts from the 6th semester. companies like TCS, Wipro, Infosys and Amazon visit the campus. The highest package offered is around 35LPA and the average is 4-6LPA. About 70-80% of students get placed , mainly in IT and management roles. After completing my degree I plan to work in the industry and later pursue higher studies.

Placement Experience:

Placement are fine I won't say good for our course most of students prefer for higher students so the placement percentage will be 50- 60 . Student are eligible in their last for placement . Placement are provided by college but if you want off campus it's the students choice . The companies are :- United bioceuticals, ALPS , graphic era hospital etc.

UPES University brings in a different energy!!

Placement Experience:

Infy, Techno India, Brumha and many as techies are required all over. From a watchmaker to salt maker without a techie a business can't grow big. So, even though there are 500+ CSE students still 75 percent or so get placed easily from our campus.

The IIM of the North

I found the admission process easier (Level Medium on Difficulty scale). The process started with the CAT application form, then the CAT exam, followed by a call letter for an Interview and then the selection email.
