College Katta- The review.

I chosen this college due to good placements in this college, if we consider the good things about this college is modern teaching methods, supportive faculty members, AC classrooms, well equipped library system. As this college is now autonomous approved there are lots of benefits for the students who get admitted. Admission process quite simple and took approx. a month (includes all round of CAP PROCESS).

As far as as course concerned, they taught you industry required courses as this is autonomous college so, courses are mainly designed by faculties only. As I want to gain such advance knowledge in the field of computer science because of this I selected SPIT collge. the facilities were highly qualified and always there to solve students queries at any time also mainly focuses on practical approach rather than theoretical one. exams were also conducted on monthly basis, includes semester, surprise tests also. It's very easy to tackle the exam just before the exam day. I will definitely recommend this college to students who looking for great career opportunities.

I have opted for software developer internship offered by maptek software LLP with 10k stipend per month, I had learnt most of the coding skills and DBMS practical experience over inthis company. I have worked on CMS projects like anoobhav, shiksha kind of live projects given by reputed partner companies.

The overall placements is the college is quite good, after completing the sixth semester the students were eligible to opt for college placements. The companies mostly visited to the college were Bnp Paribas, Infosys, L&T, KINAI infotech, media.net, Morgan Stanley who gives the normal package from 3- 5 lakhs per annum. These companies provides both Training + placements. the minimum package offered is 3-3.5 lakhs and max is to 5-8 lpa. Companies mainly look for developer, SDE, TESTERS INTERNS and approx. 70% students were got placed in the academic year 2018. which is quite good as compared to other collges placements. After completing this my next plan is to complete MBA IN IT in order to get skilled in management level functionalities in IT.

Fees were quite high as compared to other colleges, but as reservation quota is there due to which the poor candidates can easily take admission in this college with minimum fees structure TFWS. I also received the scholarships throughout the 3 years of full time course from GOI. The internship they provide basically in the companies like BNP Paribas, Kinai infotech, KPMG with 13k-15k of stipend per month post with placements depends upon performance of the candidates. in order to get hired in drem company they also usually conducted the session of Alumni, coding workshops, experts sessions on IT.

Overall the college environment bis good and enjoyable, the tech fest like "hackathon", codeninja which helps students to strong the concept of computer programming. Also the "Udaan" festival we enjoyed alot during academic year 2015-2019. The college has well equipped library and also have book bank facilities for economically backward class students. Moreover the collge also arranges the carrom, badminton, cricket competitions for overall growth of the students.

As I have not opted for hostel facility, I haven't any idea about this. as some of mine friends used hostel facility they told it's quite good but having more restrictions than usual one like ID CARD permission for in and out to the hostel, room policy, etc.

There is no any Gd, interview has been conducted for admission into the college. The students just need to tackle the MAH-MCA-CET in order to get admitted in the top colleges. Post graduation if student desire or wants gain some more knowledge in the computer science then they can take admission to this college. preparing with just MCA COMPETITIVE books will allow you to score good in the exam.
