IIM Kashipur

I choose this college because yes being getting in IIM is necessary and IIM Kashipur has been since 2011 and well it is in growing and still in developing stage but yeah i thought that is the best choice for me.

The best thing about the IIM is that the first year of college we do have general management we get to learn all the subjects like operations, finance, supply chain, marketing, and HR. There are some other B schools do take the specialization at first year itself. In IIM as per the course structure we do get to learn all the subjects and all the course structures. Coming to faculty we have really experienced people with PhD degrees. As well as people who got already in corporate world for really long time who shares their experiences and faculties are really good. Course curriculum and course structure that we follow one mid term exams and during the course itself we do have quizzes right now its online so its bit different but yeah the structure is pretty well designed.

Summer internships i have been placed in outlook groups and before that i was placed into innovation next which is 1.5 lakhs for two months. The highest stipend for IIM Kashipur is 3.5 lakhs and median stipend comes around 80 to 90K for all the students. The roles are different all the domains are covered like finance, HR, operations, marketing all the roles are offered and companies like ICICI, RBL, Google came for placements.

The placements usually gets inclined by particular domain but summer internships are being so variant that all the roles are pretty much equally covered.

The fee structure is around 15 lakhs for two years for MBA regular program. Scholarships i have heard about is the merit scholarships which is offered to the 25% of the students who scored highest in the CAT exam.

Being in the pandemic we couldn't able to experience it but as far as some students who are in the campus the review we got that it has all the sports facility the campus life is pretty chill one it got amenities like gym, sports and everything was provided in the campus. Extracurricular activities like its a bond where students interests where they want to go or what they want to do in the free time. Well everything is pretty much available in the campus and social life is really good.

The food quality is really good, hostel fee is affordable because people who have given single rooms for the students second year and first years should share twin sharing rooms so the cleanliness that is there will be daily cleaning by the house keeping. The accommodation is well managed by IIM Kashipur.

The GD for CAT went really good my topic was about why conventional education was to is necessary for online teaching was more perfect to the students. basically in IIMs they dont hire third parties to conduct the interviews or GD the faculty itself takes the process of WAT, GD and PI.
