I did appear for NID and IIT but my rank was not enough to get a seat as general seats are very less there for NID it's 100 and IIT it's 80 only. For the admission first they take GAT and CAT which is the general ability test and creative ability test. After this if you are selected from this round than you have the other round which is the Situation Test/ Studio Test here you are given with different materials and using that you have to make a 3D model according to the given theme options and in the given time. One of the best government institutes is NIFT Mumbai. For taking admission hare firstly you have to pass your 12th board examination then you have to fill entrance exam form in the month of December. If you are science stream student then you can take Bachelor in Fashion Technology course otherwise you are not able to take this course. If you want to do some creativity in design or fashion communication or leather design, shoe design, accessories design then you can choose the designing part. Your admit card will come in the month of January and in February your examination will take place. Now if you hold a good rank then you can take admission here.
