Remarks

I did not apply for any other college and dine even used any quota for admission. Minimum 50percent in graduation and a scorecard of cat or mat exam is mandatory for admissions in smvdu. After that meritorious students get counseling and admissions start.

Course Curriculum Overview

There are 8 professors and associate professors over a batch of 80 students so 1 professor over every 10 students. The faculty is highly qualified and well experienced. And are always ready to support. Exams are conducted timely

Internships Opportunities

Internship opportunities are good ant the college campus college has ties with many companies. Companies which come for hiring interns are like icici, hdfc, sapcon, chenab group etc The average stipend offered was 5 to 6k

Placement Experience

Every 3rd sem student is eligible for placements in campus. Companies like Sriram, axis, sapcon visit the campus for the process of campus placements. Average ctc is 4 to 6 lakhs per anum. On an average 60% students get hired.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions

Fe structure is gentle as compared to all other top institutions in country but is quite expensive as compared to other colleges in the state. But still it's good as per the facilities provided. Some test based and state sponsored scolarships are also available.

Campus Life

This year no annual fest or sports activity was arranged or conducted because of covid-19 but every year university organizes fests and events. University has a big library with books in it Classes are equipped with amenities

Affordable education in Kashmir

Placement Experience:

Campus placements start from the 4th semester in PG courses. Decathalon, ICICI Bank, and a few other companies visited as well. Few offers were made like 4 from ICICI bank and 2-3 from decathlon. The above-average package of 2-3 lac per annum was offered by ICICI bank. The average was 1-2 lacs per annum. Almost 10% of students got placements. I had plans to get employed during my degree but I couldn't because of the lack of exposure.

yes, the college provides placements and the students appearing in the third semester are all eligible for campus placements and can sit into them. The companies who use to visit the college for placements are airtel, icici, Sriram, sapcon, acro paints, etc and hire 60% of students with an average package of 5 to 7 LPA

HONEST REVIEW ON THE BUSINESS SCHOOL, JAMMU UNIVERSITY

Placement Experience:

They offer placements but the package is low, during my time most of the students got placed in HDFC bank and there are other brands as well like ITC, ICICI etc that come for placement here but again the package is not that great, the average package is 3-4 lac. however, students were asked to go for off campus placement as well. I myself got placed in HDFC from the university only and worked there for 2 years.

There are 40 students and 6 teachers All the faculty members in JU are Ph.D. degree holders and have multiple degrees also and are experienced teachers of their field and have a good knowledge of how to teach a student. Exam are timely taken and are quite easy to pass.

After the completion of 2 semesters, we are eligible for on-campus placement and after the 2 sems, companies also start coming to smvdu . ICICI, SRIRAM, Berger, etc are the companies that come here. The highest package is 420000 and 320000 is the lowest package the companies provide here. 50-60% of students get placed and it totally depends upon the caliber of the students how they crack the interview. I want to work in an MBC and want to earn good money.

Great placement

Placement Experience:

The placement process starts from the 2nd-semester form where we get our internship and from there we can go for pre-placement offers. Moreover, we are also given opportunities in the 3rd semester where we have a lot of option and can grab a placement. The average package is about 5 -7 lakh. The percentage of students should be at least 60%.

IIM Jammu has a placement record of 100%. The college organizes Pre-Placement Talks for students to prepare for the Placement session. The average CTC offered was around 8-10 LPA.
