Remarks

When I did my MBA, SMVDU had a very good reputation and name that's why I choose this college only. During our time, the admission criteria were 60% Mark's in graduation for general category students and 55% for reserved categories students.

Course Curriculum Overview

I don't want to do MCA, that's why I opted for MBA. The faculty of Smvdu were very knowledgeable and are highly qualified. I remember one of our HOD's has done his studies from abroad. They all have a very good teaching experience and teach really well.

Class Size: 70Course Fees: INR 200000 per year

Placement Experience

I got campus placement and got an opportunity to work with INDIA's leading private sector bank - HDFC. I m now working in ICICI bank. It was my dream to become a banker and SMVDU really helped me to achieve that.

Fees and Financial Aid

They do provide scholarships to those students who has good ranking in merit list OF Cat/mat or WAT which is a written aptitude test for those students who failed to give CAT /MAT. during my time, in each sem, the fee was approximately 80,000.

Campus Life

Tatva is a management fest, that SMVDU conducts every year. Even I was also part of this fest and worked as a coordinator. This acts as a chance of showcasing your management skills .The campus has a football ground, libraries, and even gym too.

Hostel Facilities

Yes, I opted for hostel facilities as the university is far from my home and it's not possible for me to do up down on regular basis. The rooms of hostels were in good condition. Btw there are separate hostels for both girls and boys.

Well it is good to b an MBA in my residential area, that people mostly belong to tourism sector, The guidance and honesty among my teachers transform into me to face the world. Needs to upgrade the teachers training with technology. Exam papers are extremely difficult and the level is high, although our teachers were very talented who teach us how to handle each and every tough situation.

I wanted to to Bca as i was into softwares and my interest has always been into technology. 40 students over a faculty Most of the Faculties were PHD and well educated and their teaching method was above par It was never on time and it wasn't much difficult to pass exams

I chose this college as I liked the campus because where it is located that is known as the heaven of India. As we know Jammu & Kashmir's climate is very awesome and the college is near to the city, the airport and they offer the best foreign exchange program that helps in studying abroad.

Admission:

The admission to the MBA programme is based on the CUCET score which is conducted by the college. The minimum eligibility criteria for the general category is 55% marks with a bachelors degree. Same applies for masters in some other field.

Nice and Unbiased review of Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University Katra

I have applied in many colleges and I also get seat in them but the only reason I use assembly because the college is close from my home. Just because of travelling purposes I choose this college. The admission process in our college is not very difficult. The only way to get admission in the college by csab counselling and by college internal counselling.The cut off of the branch is 60 percentile for general students.
