I gave SET(SLIET ENTRANCE TEST). My all india rank IS 232. I opt this college because this is an Central government institution. And the teachers also good. And there are so many facilities like health centre, shopping complex, approx 450 acres campus with full greenery.

The course structure is semester wise of six months. In which there are two minor exam one major exam.and the result comes after 10 to 20 days. In one semester there are 5 to 6 subjects. There are practicals which we perform on labs. The course structure is very good as compare to private institutes. In one semester there are 5 to 6 subjects.

Yes , our college provide internship. In our college many companies come to take talented students from our college. Companies like Yamaha, Mahindra, Nestle, Ralson India Ltd., Etc come in our college and take many talented students. The stipend is around 30000 approx. The companies take the interview of the students and written tests also. And the companies also take group discussion of the students.

The placements and job opportunities come to students every year. Most of the companies come to our college to take talented students to there companies. The companies like Mahindra, Yamaha, Hero, Nestle ,Indian Army, Ralson India Ltd. Etc came to our college campus. The companies take students by interview, written test, etc.the students Hero takes around 40 to 50 to there company and offer package of 2 to 3 lakh.

In our college there are many cultural , technical, festival are held. The cultural festival like Madhuram , etc were held every year. It's an big festival in which students participate and enjoy. And the technical festivals are also held in our college like metamorphosis, etc. It's a big festival in which games, dance , extra curricular activities are performed by the students.

The fees structure is very good. As we know it's an Central government funded institute. The fees is feasible. And the facilities also very good as compare to other private institutes. In other good institutes for doing B.tech around 8 to 10 lakhs were needed, but in SLIET it can be done in 4 to 5 lakhs only. It's good for doing b.tech in government college.

The college offer the scholarship to poor people and physically handicapped challenged students And to the Northeast students. The poor students and physically handicapped students can apply for the scholarship as per the rules and regulations.

Campus life is the best life that we lived. In campus we do everything which we want to do like anything. In campus we do parties with friends of birthdays, etc. In campus students diversity is very good. There's no tolerance with regards to gender. There's no sexual orientation. No politics, no economic status. We live as a family in our campus.

In our college there are 10 boys hostel and 3 girls hostel. And around 250 to 300 were live in each hostel. In my hostel no. 2 , in one room there are 3 students. The room is good and comfortable. The mess food is nice but not too good. The mess fees is 2250 per month.

The examination structure is very good. In one semester there are two minor examination of 20 marks and one major examination 50 marks. The labs are not very frequently leave us with a hectic day but sometimes in timetable. According to the time table to labs n lecture examination are taken.

The faculty of college are well qualified. All are mostly from NITS OR IITS. They are very Helpful to us. And all the teachers are very interested in teaching there particular course. They teaches us very well. And take all the classes with full of energy. The teachers are also help if any student didn't understand the topic they teach that topic again.
