I took WBJEE. I opted this college as civil engineering is quite popular in this college. The labs are quite well equipped and the faculty is brilliant. My rank in Wbjee was 10002.

The course structure is as per the rules set by the university. Our college is under Maulana Azad Abul Kalam University of Technology. So our college has to follow the syllabus set by the university. The course structure is very organised. I do not have any electives as I am in second year right now.

No Internships are offered. My course does not have any scope of internship right now. College does not provide any scope of internship or I am not aware of that.

Usually my stream does not have very big placement options. Campus in my stream is not very popular. And being a student of second year I am not very concerned about placement right now and placement in civil engineering is not dependent on campus.

I am not aware of any loan or scholarship facilities provided by the college. Even if there is one I am not aware of it.

The gender ratio is almost equal. Extra curriculars include annual fests robotics football tournaments cricket tournaments drama music clubs rotaract club as well. Workshops are often arranged on different topics including curriculum and also extra curricular workshops on acting photography etc.

No the labs and exams are very organised. Sometimes they are hectic as labs are of long duration. Nothing can be done as the labs require a lot of time and cannot be completed very swiftly. Exams are not very frequent and at intervals. Two internals are held and one semester exam every six months.

Had to attend the counselling session organised By the West Bengal Joint Board. I had to select my preference of colleges and I chose MSIT as my first choice. I had to pay some amount at the counselling spot and the rest at my college during time of admission.
