I have applied for MCA in B.P. Poddar college but they do not have 2 years MCA program(Lateral) so, I go for another college that provides the program. I have no quota and I got direct admission to my college. The criteria for MCA is 50% in graduation from any university. There are no age criteria for admission. I did not get any counseling in my MCA because of Lateral entry so we are basically admitted in an ongoing program. The admission process was really simple. I have to give the documents and the DD as the admission fees.

I had chosen the course because I did BCA at my graduation. The faculty: student ratio is 1:7. The qualification of the faculty is not good some of them done only MCA and they got the chance to teach as a teacher in the same course without any experience. Their teaching methods are just like someone who doesn't care about their student only care about the salary without any work. The term exams are only for showoff. If you do not attend the exam nothing will happen and you will get full marks in the internal.

Internships are offered by PCS Global . Quiz app. Website. Gaming App. The outcomes of the projects are good. Projects are done by students and the teachers are never gonna help you with anything. They are going to inform you about the project before 15days from the submission date. So, it was really frustrating to complete a project within 15days also you have to learn a completely different platform and applied it to your projects.

From the 4th semester we got placement offers but only exam link,s not anything else. Some unknown like Ardent Group of Companies, PCS global etc. highest 6lakh and lowest 3 lakh. 60% and above got placement offers. Try to start a business.

There is only 10% students are placed in this year. The highest salary package is 6 lakh per annum. The lowest salary is 3 lakh per annum. They did not provide any scholarship. Also they do not provide any stipend for the needy student. They can kill you to get the pending fees for the semester which is going to be held after the current semester means they take the semester fees before a semester in present.

I did not attend any fest or tech fest ever. Also they never gonna tell you about any programme which is going to held on college. Books are only available for B.Tech students first then if some of the books are left then we will get the books and most of us never got the books. Only boys play football and basket ball thats all. Social groups are only whatsapp groups and about club and website there is nothing.
