Really an old memory

Slightly difficult as DU cut-offs increase every year. I did not availed any quota. I did apply to Hindu College in Delhi University, but couldnot make it to cut off for that year. Simply you have to fill College for and if you meet cut off, you will get a call. Admission process is smooth. I used to stay near by which is Kamla Nagar. Very cool place. I had some seniors used to stay in Hindu College. I used to visit Hindu College hostel very frequently. I remember, I had attended many fests of Hindu College in completion of its 100 years in 1999. I too old now.

I liked commerce. In my family, my siblings almost all opted for Science or Maths. I was exceptional amongst all. 1:80. If you get a chance to join any college in Delhi University North Campus, you need to go outside for your personal tuition classes, but if you are weak in Taxation, probably then only. Most of the Professors are PhD or pursuing or more than 10-15 years of experience of teaching. University of Delhi exams always conduct on time.

The year when I joined in 1999, we had no opportunity of internship or placements. So, we used to discuss with the professors to do some part-time jobs with CA or some tuition classes. Some of my friends got some editing options from some reputed magazines. Now internships, placements, and good package students got placed with.

When I joined 1999-2003, we had not any placement wings as such. But now every college of Delhi University has its own placement wing. After finishing my degree, I wanted to enroll for ICWA, but later on, I realized that ICWA is not my cup of tea, so I dropped the idea of doing ICWA. Later I started working with AirTel.

Ramjas College comes under the University of Delhi and it is Central University so no high fee. So, there is no possibilty of a scholarship. But, yes you can apply for a scholarship for your hostel and mess fee.

We used to have many fests in College. Most of the fests generally start after winter break. Ramjas college has Basket Ball, Cricket, Football, and Hockey as well. The very good library you will all most all related to books to your respective course. In fact, you can sit in Library for the entire day.

I used to stay very close by place Kamla Nagar. Very good place and the market as well. I used to stay in 1 room appartment and used to have tiffin services. Downstairs, I used of a lot of time junk food like chole bhature and samosas from Kale Shah the Hatti. If you apply early, then probably you will get a hostel.
