Remarks

-Online admission system is practice. -Admission is based on mhcet and jee marks. And to secure a score for 12th set by the institute as requirement criteria. -There is no personal interview taken for admission.

Course Curriculum Overview

-I choose IT (INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY) as it is a trending course and also our college provide good placements for this department. -Teachers are well in number, around 18-25 faculty are present in each department, which is a good range. -Teachers are highly qualified and has the best teaching skills. They are friendly and helpful. -For any BE course, in every semester 2 unit tests are taken and prelims are taken before the final semester exam. Papers are set such that, students get well prepared for the final semester exam.

Internships Opportunities

Many companies offered internships and college is equipped with Ciba where the student who wants to build their startups works there, which also provides internships to students Mainly technology developer role is offered. Projects like building apps, websites, solving public problems using technology are covered

Placement Experience

From sem 7 students become eligible for placements. Various Companies visit our college some are TCS, CARWALE, Zi, byjus, shell etc. The average salary is around 450000 per annum. The highest is 1000000 per annum. Many companies are bulk recruiters so 80-90 percent of students get placed.

Fees and Financial Aid

- Fees per year is around 130000 for every course. -There are various scholarships, which students can avail of, in the criteria where they fit. -There is no pressurisation for payment of fees. -various companies visit our college and provide good placements. - Tcs, carwale, byjus etc visit and provide a package of in range 450000 - 900000.

Campus Life

-Annually a fest is organized named etamax which refreshes students. -And also a sports fest is conducted every year name faces, which involves the participation of students in a different sports activity. -Practicals methods are used in teaching. -Every classroom has a projector, which the teacher uses for teaching. - Advanced machines and computers are present in labs. -Various groups are run by students which facilitates learning and also they host various events.

Placement Experience:

From 7th Sem, students are eligible for placements and undergo placement training. Many companies has visited so far but the big ones are Godrej, BEL, Framatome, etc. The highest package for mechanical was 7.5 LPA and the avg package was around 5 LPA with a majority of job roles as GET. Almost 95% students are placed. I'm preparing for GATE ME for higher studies

Highest is still unbeatable as one student in 2023 got a paycheck of 50 lakhs per annum from SIT. Even the average is over 10 lakhs now as most students are placed through SIT placements cell.

Course curriculum is also good and it is explained in detail on the college's website and there are labs for the courses which made learning fast and easy. Relevance(industry alignment)->8/10 The curriculum is designed to keep up with the industry needs especially in fast growing fields like computer science, management, design and pharmacy. Updated course such as AI, machine learning, cybersecurity, data science and 3D printing are included for tech students. Industry exposure depends on the students initiative it's not equally strong in every department. Comprehensiveness-> 7.5/10 First year courses focus on building strong basics in science, mathematics and communication skills. Later semesters introduce specialisation, electives, research projectsand soft skill training. The curriculum also includes personality development, entrepreneurship and innovation modules. A few departments could integrate new technologies fatser into the syllabus. Bookworms are welcome, engineers are not

The eligibility was cet and jee marks based only. The last round cutoff for this college in mechanical was around 80%ile in mhtcet. But it was higher than 95%ile in comps for general. The admission process was easy just bring a cheque and fill up few forms and give documents and done. I had choosen many other colleges over this i even got accepted in mit wpu and talen admission but i am a local mumbai person and i woshed to stay here so i gave up that admission. I also didnt get admission in the crce bandra due to only a small difference in the cutoff. And i had no idea about the ACAP rounds. I understood about acap and tried taking admission in vesit chembur in robotics but idk i changed my mind and stayed in fcrit because i thought i dont like coding at all and thus staying in core mechanical would help me sustain my engineering life....Read More
