Remarks

I just had to register online on the university of delhi website and when the cutoff was released, I had to fill the college and course in my application form according to my marks satisfying the cut off.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

This course provides education on a broader perspective rather than other specialisation courses like biochemistry, microbiology, etc. In our class there are 72 students out of which only 30-40 students attebd class regularly. There are generally 2 teachers for one subject but they take classes separately. All of my professors have a minimum qualification of PhD. , Some also have Post-doctorate degree. In our college, there is Semester type exams, i.e., which are conducted every six months. The difficulty level is not that high. But sn average student might have to work hard to just pass. Since there were OBE, we all got quite good scores.

Internships Opportunities

4

Many Companies visit our college, it includes mainly startups and other companies too like Flipkartz etc. Mainly the internship domains are HR, Business Development Executive, Sales Manager, Product Manager, Content Writer, Graphic Designer, Web & App Developer, etc. Stipend usually is performance based and mainly for Sales Executive who get paid for every sale. I got into an internship as an HR and I had to onboard candidates for Zomato, Swiggy, etc. I got 250/- per onboarding. And in Another company I had to find candidates for a particular job vacancy and I got 33% of the candidate's CTC which was usually 1000/-

Placement Experience

4

Students can apply for jobs after 5th semester,i.e., the last year itself. Theree are many companies like Decathlon, etc. Which come with quite good offers. Our average package is around 8 lacs and highest is 19lacs, it is absolutely worth it. Percentage of students depends every year on the companies which can recruit any no. Of employees. I plan to have a Master's and a PhD after my degree so that I get a good package.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees structure is wuite affordable for even a low class family, it is 17k per year and our college even provides scholarships to students with backward classes or low financial status. There are not much jobs for our course, but the placement cell provides Internship opportunities which are open for every course like Sales, HR, etc. Done companies do provide stipend of upto 6-10k per month. For the jobs, there are not much jobs for our course.

Campus Life

5

There are n no. Of societies in our college, we have many societies which even consider welfare of society like NSS, Gender Sensitization forums, etc. It is just been started so it does not have any website as such but it does have instagram account. We also have a TedxTalk society, it is just amazing. We have a departmental fest which occur every year during Feb-March. There are college fests too apart from this. Our college has one of the biggest playground, one is separate for football onlyz there is a hige auditorium and an amphitheatre. Our college has almost every extra curricular activity from Art to Dance literally everything.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The core subjects are very well divided, the main problem arises with the other additional subjects which requires efforts as same as the other subject even though they don't hold any importance as such. Maybe reducing other subject or making them practical based instead of theory based would be helpful.

In today's generation Computer Science is one of the demanding course in market so that influenced me to persue this course. computer science is all related to coding and all so it enhance your thinking level the more you think the more codes you can create and can improve your coding skills. coding is not very tough thing to do. it's easy and interesting thing if you have interest in it.

The placements of my college are moderate as the average package is ?6.5 lakhs and the highest package is around ?23.02 lakhs . Many prestigious companies like delloite, accenture have held various placement sessions in DRC and it's overall a good to place for companies to get high skilled students. The placement cell is very active too which makes it possible for our college to get many internships and placements opportunities.

The placements cell Avenues regarding the placement offers coming to the college. Major companies of the job market come to the campus for recruitment like KPMG, deloitte, zepto, EY, ZS Associates and many more. The students from the final year itself gets eligible for placements. Around 30-40% students get the palcements through the placement drive. The highest package during the last palcement season was around 18 to 20LPA, while the average was 7 to 8LPA. I will certainly go for higher studies in operational research.
