Remarks

Fees is quite less as compare to other college and also it's a TEQUIP funded collage so number of opportunity are more. It is one of the best engineering college in himanchal after niit hamirpur so if a person who had perform well in jee exam could have a try here

most experienced Faculty in this area who guided student for future scopes of Civil engineering Teachers are quite good and experienced but some of them are quite arrogant who just take teaching as a job you can depend on faculty for university exam but if you are aiming for gate and ese so you must prepare by yourself

Yes i had completed my internships from iit mandi this internship opportunity was provided by teachers to few students

There is no placement for civil engineering provided by college but there are one two ec company come to collage which place other brannchs student for design job rather then this they ask student to give gate examinations

Placement Experience:

the following is the bare bones of accommodations in HPNLU lavery centre HPNLU placements and carrer prospects :-the HPNLU students are usually allowed to have campus placements staring in the 9th semester .the placement cell is only quite young ,and thus developing at NLU . Boutique law firms and companies such as link legal and lakshmikumaran and sridharan also conduct top recruiting , and a few of the students also conduct top recruiting ,and a few of the students also get the PPO,s after the internship . packages the largest packages are normally between 10-12 LPA,with an average package of between 6-7 LPA placement percentage approximately 40-50 % of students seeking corporate jobs end up being placed off campus . plans after degree :on a personal note ,i will be exploring the world of litigation or the courts ,as the degree offerings provided by the university provide a good base in regards to competitive tests .

Chandigarh-based companies or the startups, and training institutes come here. Companies like Meander Software, Bebo Technologies, Novem Control, BookingKoala - Sales Hungary, etc. companies come. Average package is 3.8 LPA, and 50% students are getting placed. My plans after getting the degree is working in an IT company.

Placement Experience:

At NIT Hamirpur, students become eligible for campus placements from the 7th semester onwards, and the placement scenario has been quite encouraging in recent years. A wide range of companies such as Infosys, Wipro, L\&T, Capgemini, Tata Projects, and several core as well as IT firms visit the campus every year. The highest placement touched an impressive 2.05 crore offered to a mechanical engineering student, while the overall average package stands at around 10.5 LPA, which is a strong figure compared to many other NITs. The placement percentage remains high, with a majority of students securing offers, especially in branches like CSE, IT, and ECE, though core branches like civil and mechanical also receive good opportunities. The profiles offered include roles in software development, consulting, design, project engineering, and research. After completing my degree, I plan to take advantage of these placement opportunities to gain solid industry experience and later decide whether to pursue higher studies or competitive exams for broader career growth.

I chose this course because I liked horticulture .This course is very well applied in real world in cultivation and growing of vegetables, fruits and flowers and horticulture also has job opportunities in private sector. There are some improvements like more practical learning, real world exposure etc. that could be made to make this course more effecgive in real world application. My other options were both private colleges which I've stated earlier. They both are very imfamous colleges. But also tgere is a lot of students who took admission there. I applied to all the Government colleges and all the colleges that come under hptu and choose this college because it is considered to be best for government civil engineering course and I had the option to choose any college but I choose this because it is a good college for the admission we have to give entrance test or on the basis of JEE mains so after the admission test there is merit list and the counselling and you get the admission letter that's all it's it's a very easy process you just have to score there is a lot of competition but yeah you can get admission not easily but not that tough...Read More
